  1. This gap depends on the way X-Plane is rendering the scenery. Exactly at this gap 2 scenery tiles come together and X-Plane isn´t accurate enough to calculate this. Even generating a completely new elevation data would not help. That´s the way X-Plane does. So we all have to live with this... I am sorry for that.
  2. Hi, Location is 47, 32 55.50 N / 12, 24 04,34 E Tyrol/Austria near St.Johann /Tyrol Simulator (Remos G3) set to realistic, picture taken from about 7000 ft from a trip from LOWS to LOWI last year.

Austrian Roads and Railways (V9) as a Custom Scenery DSF Overlay. It needs X-Plane V9 Created with the nice Script from Marginal out of OpenStreetMap.org If you have a really powerful graphic card, you should set the rendering settings to "Insane". Then you get them all, highways, small roads and paths. Otherwise you may reduce the settings to show just the main roads and railways. This is the first version, first release. Installation: Unzip, drop the folder to your "Custom Scenery" location. This scenery package is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 license. Have fun, Andreas
  3. Maybe you need to delete the according scenery-file of Demo LOWI: LOWI Demo terrain / Earth nav data / +40+010 / +47+012.dsf put it out of the X-Plane-Folder and keep it for safe.

LOWS - Salzburg W.A.Mozart for X-plane 9 Just a few meters away from the Euro 2008 stadium. You could see it if there would be an object in the final short before touchdown ;-) but I do not have it... The scenery was converted from MSFS. It contains very accurate buildings, Objects, Taxiways, Taxilines, parking positions, satellite fotos of the area. Made some modifications for X-Plane. No more powerlines at the runway. My thanks goes to: Johannes Kimla, for his detailed airport Ben Supnik, for his help and tools Marginal, for his tools Have fun! Andreas Note: If you cannot see part of the scenery, the western part of the airport, take the following file out of it´s folder and keep it for later: LOWI Demo terrain / Earth nav data / +40+010 / +47+012.dsf This one is for X-Plane V9 only! If you have V8 look here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autoco...p;showfile=2602
  4. Always was looking for this plane, since Remos deleted it´s own version from their website. Thank you for that plane!
  5. Good idea! As you are an Apple-User, please convert this Word-Doc into a PDF. So everyone even without Micro$oft Word can view the instructions.
  6. Ben, of course, other things are more relevant for the next release, you are right... Yesterday I made a workaround for splitting those taxiways in tow parts: 1) Duplicated the taxiway 2) fixed and hid one of two 3) erased all necessary points 4) made the same with the duplicate So now I have two taxiways fitting perfectly together. For erasing it would also be nice to get something like a rubber pen (like in Photoshop). So you do not need to select all points before erasing. Also I do have a very interesing feature here after 2 hours of editing: When quitting WED the Desktop looks like as a bluring effect was applied. In OSX all fonts on the desktop are smoothed for better viewing, but after WED (or even during the session when switching to another application) ALL on the screen looks like blured. This seems to stay for 10-15 minutes! Could it be a OpenGL-effect? It looks like as when you zoom in the screen a little (ALT+Scollwheel). Corresponding Prefs are deselected. OSX 10.4.10, iMac Intel 2,16, 20", 256 VRAM. I do NOT have the same effect when working in 3D-Applications or Photoshop. So I do not think that it could be something like a ghosting effect on the TFT. It does not look sharp as it should, instead there is some greyish blur over the image - hard to explain ;-) Just try out to stay in WED some time and then quit the application. Open some Finder-Windows with a lot of white and some black text. The first time I saw that I thought that it is time to go to bed, my eyes got tired. But this just happens after working in WED...
  7. For the next release, please: At my converted airport I have some very long taxiways. So it would be cool if we can split a complete taxiway (maybe with the taxilines) in two or more parts. Or can we do that right now?
  8. Great plane, performs like the real one, very nice to fly. Thank you for the update!
