It may be mission or damaged Compressed File:/G:\Not yet scanned/directory.txt.zip (Main.ccp line 182) Help what can I do Also I have tried to copy and move the scenery from the DVD's to the Custom Directory (is that correct?) Any help would be appreciated as this is my X-Mas present Christmas is going and the New Year is coming Thanks,
Cormac
Most probable cause: The installer gets confused if there is more than one real/virtual DVD drive on your PC. Make sure the X-Plane DVD is in the last (highest letter on Windows) drive.
clayrb
Thanks for the reply but I think that I need a little more information.......This is what I have on my computer C: Local Disk D: Hard Drive 2 E: Hard Drive 3 F: DVD Drive G: CD-RW When I try to run the DVD it defaults to the C drive put I get the error message? Do I need to disconnect a drive to install it? Oh I'm running Vista 32 if that helps Thanks,
brett s
Like Cormac said, the installer wants the disk in the HIGHEST LETTER DRIVE (just like your error mesage said) - change your drive letters, or disconnect the CD-RW.
Chuck Norris
How would one change his drive letters? I'm having exaclty the same problem. Edit: Never Mind. I just temporarily disabled the drives below the DVD. (not sure if thats what you meant by disconnect the drives.)

razael
if u have any virtualdrivers (daemon tools etc) just unload them
gorillajr
FYI...on my install, I couldn't just unmount the drives or exit Daemon Tools...I had to COMPLETELY UNININSTALL Daemon Tools to get past the error. No biggie...just thought it might help out others.
Cormac
Completely uninstalling Daemon Tools is not necessary. At worst, you just need to just unmount the virtual drives using the command to do this in the tray icon menu.

brian young
You may have a few bad zips on your DVD - try contacting Randy Witt, Laminar's Customer Service Manager at for advice on this (be sure to repeat the info you gave above); I think I saw someone else reporting the same problem with, probably, exactly the same DSF file here on the org a couple-three days ago.
