mokny
This topic documents the development progress of our SR22 G6 Turbo. Screenshots/infos on the upcoming pages of this thread. First of all: We think, it's almost complete. But we do NOT have a release date yet. In the past we made the mistake to announce some dates, but we could not meet this deadline. Please do us all a favor and do not ask for a date, we simply can not answer that. Second: We currently have a good amount of beta testers - and we do not need more. Please be so kind to not send us private messages. (You may join the Discord-Server instead, for a chat) Third: If we do not post frequent updates here, this does not mean that the project is abandoned or dead or whatever some masterminds excogitate. Posting screenshots always results in a ton of questions/suggestions/... (what is nice btw), but it's better for us to spend more time on developing than on posting. Enjoy the development progress! ryanbatc
Nice, used to work for Cirrus in North Dakota. Then worked as ATC in Duluth MN where they test fly their props and vision jets. Flown many a cirrus and vision jet! Lovely modelling!

tinmug
Looks very good. Might want to consider aligning the door texture with fuselage textures: will make building liveries a lot easier. 🙂
mokny
Yep, Doors are not yet UV mapped. XP just loads a random texture to it.
DolphinAir
It looks great for this early state. I have some questions. 1. Do you already have a time to expect that beauty? 2. That level of realism will it have?
Tom Mortimer
Very much looking forward to this! About time we had a Cirrus with the LR G1000...

Here is the first testflight (video is in german tho). Remember - We're in a very early stage.

Steven123123123
Is there much fps impact for that video thing? I would imagine so as you are rendering the world a 2nd time?
mokny
I don't see a difference - Tested in various regions/scenery. But as performance is our major goal, we do never render things while they are not in use. So even if this eats some FPS, if you don't use it, it won't pull any performance. Todays progress: Flightmodel tuned Engine now produces the exact values in reference to the FCOM Interior modeling (inside roof, doors) G1000 Boot sequence Facelift - we modeled the nose from a misleading blueprint - now it is correct.
