My question to Andras: If I understand your post about the differences between the default scenery and HD mesh v3 correctly, you basically say that the default scenery is based on more recent (OSM-)data, while the HD mesh v3 provides a higher resolution (with as a consequence more accurate data). If the answer is yes where do I file them, is it on a separate disc or in the main folder of X Plane 11 and is it in a special folder ?? Sorry but these are my simple questions please ??? alpilotx Posted September 10, 2017 Author Share Posted September 10, 2017 Well, I everything about the pros and cons is described in the first post of this thread ... and i can't decide for any one of you, if you should rather go with default or HD /UHD Mesh Scenery v3. Maybe a hint: I think, if you fry mostly out in the wild (with little "civilization" .... mostly natural scenery), then HD /UHD Mesh scenery v3 might still be a viable option. Whereas in cities, the default scenery will definitely have an edge. But, hey ... in October I hope to be able to start the v4 project ... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

New data has been pulled from OSM (last included changes are from 1st October 2017) and is being processed / prepared for "further" use ...
