I think i know what the problem with HDR lights. maybe one DataRef was changed, that i use to check if HDR  is ON. Will check it. Also i need to check what happen with KLN and all other textures. because they look dimmed.

Hi, Felis, just landed at UMMS, from EPWA, flight was Ok, no issue with lights or kln, but I had something with the HSI, when doing the LOC approach on UMMS, it seems that the deviation needle on the HSI only responds to the course on the pedestal but not the one on the HSI itself is that normal behaviour ?

Hi felis, no special issue during the flights I did, I just noticed a pressure gauge going to 0 kg/cm2 whenever the engine is off..  on motor 3, the pressure indicated when the engine is on is the same as the other engines...

My Log.txt file is included in case you see something in it...;

Hello Felis, I had issues with last version,

-I did noticed that there are some power micro outage in the plane : in flight you get the nose landing gear light blinking from time to time. and the ground radar/info screen keeps reinitialize when on ground.

-also some big instabilities when climbing or descending under M or V mode, the plane tend to act as a tree leave, for example, when descending, the plane dive quite hard then the plane self right itself, even going up, to then nearly stall and dive again..., i had the same (but inverted) behavior while climbing.

-the compass in the "info" screen doesn't stabilize but keeps turning and turning

@Felis experimented a bit with 1.1.5 but reverted to 1.1.3 for now.

On 1.1.5 I am sometimes experiencing OpenGL sim crashes. It only happens with that particular version, and the crash logs do not indicate towards SASL but to empty OpenGL buffers that get rendered together with the scenery. My suspicion is that SASL is injecting buffers somewhere in the rendering pipeline - but since the SASL development process has become completely closed and opaque I can't verify. I've reported on the x-plane questions site here http://questions.x-plane.com/7244/x-plane-10-5-gl-crash-on-2013-macpro and I'm positive it only happens with the 1.1.5 version.

If I place the SASL binaries from 1.1.3 in the 1.1.5 version it works. However after about 30-40 minutes of flying all the SASL overlays shut down (disappear). By overlays I mean:

  • All the digital instruments (КУРС-МП and COM frequencies, the VBE/TCAS, weather radar etc - basically all instruments for which some SASL display feature for digital gages is used
  • The left-side menu of the plane (so it's not possible to open overlay panels)

All the other systems work normally during such an outage. I haven't seen any failures related to that and the failures in general are disabled. If I force-reload SASL from the plugin enable/disable the plane enters an extremely unreliable state but all the digital gages and overlay menus come back. I haven't seen it on the default 1.1.5 version.

It might have to do with the fact that on v. 1.1.5 I have the KLN installed. I didn't even bother installing it on 1.1.3 (I think it was incompatible encryption-wise). The gauge blackout happened without even enabling the KLN (but I would assume it did load including all of it's data). I'm almost considering rewriting the KLN in C++, unless it's not related.

For those who missed Felis' posts on other forums - one of the bugfixes in 1.1.5 is exactly the same as this one - https://github.com/julik/xp-an24/commit/ccda9e547bb701ef2c9a3cbe01c6af3e763fa284 (it fixes the bug where when you fly across the international date line the gyros will instantly rotate by ~30 degrees)

this update seems quite good. I managed a few patterns at Dallas (DFW), no problems at all. The compass in the info monitor is spinning around a bit, that's it.

Thank you very much for making it run in X-Plane 11.

P.S.: I love the new russian announciators. Pretty cool stuff.

Version 1.1.6 is running fine both  in XP11.0 and XP10.51.

But on the moment testing  TCAS screen  for latitude and UTC time - these values are fine, but compass  above them seems strange. With  adjusted compasses and standing aircraft heading 80 it displays 180 in XP10 and shows constantly changing values in XP11.
