- General Information / Support / Bugs reports :

As said for the Manual, if you find yourself wondering where is this or that, PLEASE have a look first on the Manual ( it's here for a reason )

If you're still stuck on something after reading the manual, or think you have a bug,  there will be a post in the Xplane.org forum where you can ask for help (or PM me)

Home -> Forums -> Helicopters in X-Plane -> Helicopter -> Development Notice -> Alouette III HSF Released

Please keep in mind that this is a FREEWARE helicopter judge it as so. We tried our best to make it as real as possible and we had to do some compromises

also keep in mind the Alouette was used in more than 33 country, so it's not possible to have all antennas, interior versions, interior equipements.

We promise to have a look at your recommendations but can't guarantee there will be more options in the future.

For a better experience with Xplane12 until they fix the interior shadow/lightning I recommand using ShadeX.

(lastest test with Xp12 12.07r1)

really great Helicopter, the looks, the features, flight model, sounds... way above freeware expectations. Can only imagine how much work went into it, the passion of the developer(s) really shows in that model. I usually check out freeware choppers once, then go back to flying my payware stuff. This will be one of the few exceptions, the model is addictive for sure. Thank you very much for this!

amazing  helicopter, just a pity that it is not also available for the x plane 11

Response from the author:

thanks !  for XP11 it's simple, the last test I did while developing the gears suspension didn't worked and some other stuff too

and when I did a test in XP11 I had 15 fps on a scenery while 30 fps with the same scenery on XP12.

So I've removed XP11,  I can't do test / fix anymore

sorry

Thank you very much, this is amazing work, well done!

The sound out your model brings back the time of the early 90ties in my swiss-army-time when i had the opportunity to have a ride in one of these!

Response from the author:

that might have a great experience flying in the swiss army alouette back in time :)

This is an absolute icon of rotary-wing aviation! I was there when the Swiss Air Force said goodbye to its Alouettes in Alpnach in 2010. Somehow it was a moving experience, because as a child I had seen and heard the Lark rotating through Swiss airspace countless times. Thank you very much for all your efforts an the fabulous work to bring back some good memories of mine into XP12.

And the video is also excellent! Congratulations to the producer.

Response from the author:

Thanks a lot !  as a swiss guy I had more experiences with the Air glaciers one, but the retirement of the swiss air force one was a moving moment too, she was the perfect helicopter for the swiss alpes
