Edit ---- some lights are too dim (runway lights, and blue taxiway lights)

        ---- some lights are too bright (Strobe lights of the plane)

       ---- FPS reduced from 39 to  23     (on my basic system, no other add-ons / enhancements )

Yooo what a great addon it literally made me want to fly at night more!

Amazing addon! My computer runs the “notfpshungry” version like a dream. It is incredible! I would rate it as 4.5 stars if I could. 

  I do seem to have a problem with some of lighting though. All the airports have lost their PAPI lights and a few other necessary runway line-up lights. Also, I cannot see the runway or taxiways unless I am lined up with them or very close by. 

(Please refer to the pictures hangglider posted further down to see what I mean. ;)

i'm not using reshade or any other enhancement plugin, just asxp and native x-plane.

and your mentioned fps heavy, yes, around 19fps so still flyable.

Perfect lighting solution. This is a massive upgrade over anything I've personally used. Although lighting in X-plane isn't perfect, this does a great job at attempting to fix it. 

PS: Don't be sorry for updating your product, I'd rather see frequent updates than none for 2 years

Ok. Here is my detailed review for this addon.

*You need to use either High or Maximum option in Visual Effect slider to get the best experience of this addon*

Turning the visual effects to HDR modes will, of course, cost you some FPS, but, this addon is worth more than the FPS loss.

 

The night lighting is amazing. Runway lights and taxi lights are brighter and more visible at night, much better than default when doing night flying, also better colored than default, so look better too.

Road lights look spectacular!

The aircraft lighting are more reflective on ground, strobes look good.

The pictures I posted are not good enough, I caught them in PNG, converted to JPG and then uploaded. The original ones look better than these.

 

Also, this is not meant for increasing your FPS, only for visual eye candy.

 

Not recommended for all, but for those that do have a powerful enough PC, go for it.

 

Look at the last pic for direct comparison between this addon and default x-plane 11 lights. 

The top one in the last pic is default and bottom one is the addon.

I'm sorry but the frames ain't framin' on this one 😕 
not only is this wayyyy too tolling on frames,
but makes the sim unflyable and as someone who flies on vatsim too, we want our frames, 19 fps max will not cut it

I do give props that it looks good tho, but maybe this isn't the sim for this kind of lighting...
