About This File
This Alenia C-27J Spartan (MM 62218) displays the livery of 46 Aerobrigata, Aeronautica Militare Italiana, 2007. The C-27J, advanced derivative of the G.222 and called by some the Mini Herc, has met the specification for the Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA) program in the US. 78 units are on order for the USAF and the US Army, the first having been delivered last September.
This model could not have been built without the contribution of my friend Don Bush ([email protected]), a true master in 3D, from whom I still have many things to learn. The project has lasted almost nine months, and in my opinion, is a wonderful example of virtual cooperation.
I'm certainly no master at 3D. I have learned just enough to get the job done.
In my opinion, I got Paolo to deal with all the hard stuff, especially the cockpit. DB
This model is fully animated for X-Plane 9.20: cockpit, control surfaces, landing gear, fuselage doors and cargo ramp. In the readme file you'll find all the keys for activating the doors. For a better view of the cockpit please set the FOV at 52°.
