About This File

Here is a totally new version of my PC7 first attempt.

It's got:

- 100% new animated 3D stuff

- High def photographic textures

- Detail 3D cockpit in conformity with original

- beautiful custom sounds

- really nice flight model

ALL THAT WORK FOR FREE !!! (It's still christmas time !)

I love Pilatus stuff, love the PC7 and hope that you'll enjoy it !

Bertrand

edit: this aircraft is now available on the XPFR new website.

I tried this yesterday and found it to be have amazing detail.

A Few issues though - I found the plane has a tendency to roll when the flaps are lowered - so I need a lot of aileron to keep it straight, nav lights and radio - cant get them to work. Are you still working on this plane Bertrand?

One of the best planes I have seen for x-plane...

WOW! A thinking mans plane. Simply amazing. I have seen retail aircraft that cannot even come close to this... and its free!

I can tell many hours of care went into this bird... and believe me it shows. The only thing I would enjoy are different skins and may work on a few myself, if that would be ok.

I look forward to more craft from this artist.

Thank you!

Overall very nice graphics and cockpit detail !

But the bird is nose-heavy as ######. :o

The AI pilot was even unable to take off at all !

Please check the CG and fuel tank locations,

according to PlaneMaker they all seem to be located way too far front !

(Just for the records: I checked it out in X-Plane 8.64)

Thank you !

Regards,

alpha

Great work for a great plane!

Handles very well, with the legendary Pilatus performances. ;) It is a pleasure to fly over the Swiss mountains with it!

The panel is fantastic, even though I miss a GPS, but I suppose that there isn't any in the real plane.

Thanks very much.

... nav lights and radio - cant get them to work.

Have a look inside the cockpit with the 3D panel and zoom to the right. You'll find them

Center of Gravity and Fuel Tank Location.

I found that the location of fuel tanks and the aircraft's C/G being to far forward also to be an issue as did the comment left previsouly by ALPHA. After making the following changes, the aircraft handling improves greatly. Open planemaker to the WEIGHT & BALANCE page. Under the Weight Tab change the Default C/G from 9.9 ft. to 11.6 ft. Under the Tanks tab, change the three tank's C/G location from 9.7 ft. to 11.6 ft.

Thanks for a supurb and worderful A/C to fly added to my livery

bonjour beber,

super ton avion

It looks very nice.

But two of the gouges don't work well (in x-plane 9) Fuel Flow is always on the limit (need to increase max?) and MPR never goes above 0

Perhaps you can have a look at that

Thank you

I too noticed the fuel flow and manifold gauges don't seem to be operating but, for me, those are minor issues that I'm sure Beber will address.

This is not your Grandpa's plane, unless he was a WW2 Mustang pilot! Probably the best 3D panel /cockpit I've seen in a freeware aircraft. Great ground handling, too. Hard to believe this is a first effort.

Merci, Beber, pour ce beau plan et aussi pour votre décor Paris.

Le cockpit 3D est superbe, les sons aussi, et il vole comme un rêve. S’il vous plaît pardon my Google français
