[August 2019] awesome. Seems to be spot on as far as calculations are concerned for both TO and landing. I had a large grin on my face when I made the exit at EIDW as planned due to the numbers churned out by this programme. Very impressed!

[March 2021] I have been using this programme for a long time and this programme has come on leaps and bounds since my initial review was posted. Axel's dedication to this project is honourable. He always to listens user suggestions and has added many features since the programme was first published merely because it was asked of him. The recent decision to turn it into a web-based programme was absolutely brilliant for the potential for stkp integration/smartphone use etc... Keep up the great work Axel.

Great software, one issue; since a few days I constantly get the error 'Metar not found', which results in me having to fill the metar in manually in order for the calculator to work. Am I the only one with this issue?

Works like charm, right out of the box. And, that is on Linux, which is rare. Connects and pulls my active flight plan from simbrief (using nothing but my username), and populates all the fields. All that I have to do is to refresh weather, click on the Calculate, and enjoy the numbers.

This is a great tool for those older aircraft that do not have integrated performance calculators. Please continue to develop this and add more aircraft. It is super helpful!

Awesome tool, just one suggestion: automatically fill the TORA field. Also, is it possible create a shortcut directly to it that can be pinned to the taskbar?

A good alternative to the Boeing OPT. Seems accurate enough to me. Awesome 👍

 

Hi there, This looks like an amazing calculator but I cannot seem to load into the app and still receive the error message with the GNS430 upon opening. Now, I have copied my navdata from XP11/GlobalScenery but I have the feeling I have copied the incorrect one over. Please could you help out with this as I would like to use it with the Zibo-mod.

Great, however there is a bug in which the E-Jet profiles are using the max landing weight as the limiting weight on takeoff.

This is such an incredible perf calc. Unlike most other one's I've used, at least for the types that I've been flying so far, it actually calculates optimum settings. So instead of just asking what flap settings you want, it literally tells you what the optimal setting is. That's next level. This tool is incredibly good, and goes way beyond most payware options, which are a total ripoff given that this tool exists. Simply exceptional.

Excellent, but who has little memory and a weak PC, can compromise (like me), if the use of RAM was reduced, it would be perfect.

apsoft don't have fault if my computer is very week(memory), i can use it still

Nice manual and certainly the application is very useful once you become familair with the manual and the options. If I can be so bold to suggest that this application could be incorporated into the SimToolkit application and the data for the airport, weather and aircraft configuration could be filled in automatically from the data in the Simbrief or other information. What a wonderful world that would be? I don't want to be filling the same information into two application that could potentially work together.

Very nice alternative for the real Boeing OPT app. Appreciate the self-contained application: easy to use, quick, and precise. I use it on all my flights!

I've been using this tool for over half a year now, and I'm impressed by the quality output it gives; all you need to know pre-flight and upon approach. It's really nice to have such a tool available! Great job!

One question is why is there no calculation of optimal cruise FL ? 

All data for optimal FL calculation is available, since I can enter FL manual myself until I find the optimal FL for lowest block-fuel, it just require a lot of re-entering FL+ ISA.

1. Do not put the GNS430 folder into the Apsoft main folder but the navdata folder into the Aptsoft main folder
2. If you get a crash like I did on the fuel calculator tab it Is because you need to hit enter after you type FL340/20 for your Flight level and Cost index. When you do the filed turns to FL340-CI20. same goes for the Avg Wind component field. When you put M10 (Headwind) you hit enter and then the field turns to H010
