Classic radial PZL-104 Wilga with 3D cockpit and ground services (4k)

OMG!!! I have missed this topic so far! The Wilga with radial engine was the first plane I have flown as a passenger and... copilot (my friend was working a the Toruń airfield as a flight instructor) 🙂

I hope you have access to the reali plane to make your model not only accurate but immersive too! Please do NOT forget abou sounds! They should be similar to Thranda's Beaver! The gauges should shake like a h###! This plane should be felt like an old tractor, not just like Cessna or so. Do not worry about cockpit shaking and sounds of any items inside - XPRealistic addon with 80% settings will do the job! 🙂

I always wanted to have this plane in X-plane. Thranda's Wilga is fine but its engine is so... normal.

Make it payware and make it worthy of it. GOOD LUCK!

Yeah, we have a real Wilga access as well as contacts with her pilots and instructors so it will be ok in that point😄

I love the radials too ! Thranda’s Wilga is in my hangar, of course, but I am delighted to hear about this one.

Carry on with the project, I shall stay tuned.

Despite the fact that there were no news from us since 30th of October, don't worry! We are still working on the Wilga but the progress slowed a little bit cause our main modeler is really busy at his main workplace in studio... At the moment we have:

- exterior 3D model (no textures)

- instrument panel, overhead switches, knobs handles and pilots' seats (not finished) with no textures as well

- test flight model with 2D panel

So, I want to bring you some fun for the Christmas and promise to upload flight model here for free! It includes 2D panel so you can test and feedback to make the final product as perfect as it can be in terms of flight dynamics realism. 

And of course I will upload opensource J7W Shinden as I've announced before😉

Thanks! I see that startup procedure will give some satisfaction. Taxiing is very hard due to loose tail wheel - maybe it's too sensitive, I do not know. But steering in flight is delicious. First flight around the airfield and first landing - I was feeling like driving my own car 😉 Engine sound - I recall my post down there - the sounds are too smooth now and not very realistic (see video) but I understand it's is the beginning and I do not know if we should test it too).

I have never been beta tester of any airplane so I don't know what pay attention at? Maybe you should wirte some suggestions? It seems that this model would be on of the most admired...

Thanks for the feedback. Yep, we haven't work on the sounds yet and it is just default XPlane one. Also the tailwheel is very default. Of course we will record a lot of sounds of real Wilga and insert them with plugin!

Oh, don't worry about this. The main thing at this stage of development is just how the aircraft behave when airborne. If you have any experience in actually controlling the real Wilga can you compare it to the XP model we made? I think there are also many experienced PZL-104 pilots around here☺️

My experience is only one flight as an unformal copilot, so I really cannot be man of experience 🙂
As I have written few weeks ago the best I remember is engine noise and shaking. The shaking was so big that it has physical influence on radio frequency panel - I had to correct its settings few times. When we reached proper altitude the pilot let me make some turns. The plane was very sensitive, I did not have to operate its yoke with much force. And it was very easy to flight - it was may first turn and I have made it with no significant altitude change and with no slip. So in my opinion actual flight model of yours is adequate.

I wlii gladly test all of the next stages of the development. Regards.

Hello everyone who loves Wilga aircraft!

You may think that we've abandoned the project but we absolutely NO! All these time we haven't post any screens/news we worked on the flight and exterior/interior model! What is more that we started a partnership with fantastic MSFS 2020 addon design team called Got Friends! Thanks goes to @NewkTV for cooperation propose! 

The idea is that Got Friends team helps us with finishing 3D model and texturing and creates an MSFS 2020 version. We on our side take the final model to X-Plane 11/12 with our own scripts and flight dynamics (cause these sims have different physics engines obviously). So its a win-win situation. At final we have two stunning PZL 104 Wilgas in both top flight sims! 

Thanks Mykrode and twoseventyinc for aditional modelling and texturing.

Just look at these MSFS 2020 screens!

I'm afraid we will not get it. I have written to developers of FS version and they answared they will not make XP version. The XP version had to be made by @Pilot-Engineerthey said. I asked him what about it some time ago but he stopped answering. Consifering where he's from we can only guess the reason od his silence...

You can tweak and mod for your own use. No redistribution allowed, a far as I know.

Well, I have a fondness for this plane

I bought myself:
Wilga PZL 104 Dynamic Generation series
but this is the 2000 version it's great but when I saw the classic Wilga cockpit in MSFS it was nice

Will try to convert Wilga 80 to XP11 and fly it    (thanks Pedrovl)

I am still safe and the reason I haven't been on forum for such a long time was my graduation project in university. Now we are waiting for the Got Friends to send us .blend files to put them in X-Plane 11 and 12
