Posted February 1, 20232 yr Hi all, I have found that at GCTS when landing at runway 07, there are a couple of telemasts where the last one is directly in the glidepath slope and you therefore hit it, when landing. Is there a way to remove that mast or do I have to send a report to Laminar (which I already have)? Cheers Sincerely, Michael ToLiss A320n, A321/neo, A340, FF A359, B777 series Intel i7 8700 @ 3.7 GHz all-core, 32 GB ram, SSD + HDD, ASUS Cerberus GTX 1070 Ti
February 1, 20232 yr Don't see what all the fuss is about, I landed OK! This needs an edit on the default gateway airport. An exclusion zone for objects at the base of each mast, or if it is a defined object just remove it. You can open WED and import the airport model from the Gateway. You can edit the end of the runway and save the airport as an XP12 airport to your own custom scenery as a quick fix. The terrain at the end of 07 is barren. The problem could be as simple as a library name shift in XP12 and its effect on an earlies airport model. Certainly, the removal of Gateway exclusion zones to be replaced by a general exclusion within the Airport boundary may have played a part here. Perhaps just extending the airport boundary over the problem may solve it. February 1, 20232 yr Author I already did some edits on the default airport to add some SAM3 gateways, so I can easily add an exclusion zone as well. Thanks for the suggestion.
