Is there a timeline on when the 'Des Now' FMC function will be fixed. Currently it is not operational. The aircraft will not descend until TOD.

777V2 APP/LOC Bug – Aircraft Randomly Turns on ILS Final

I found a bug during the 777V2 approach. It happened to me 3 times in 5 flights — more than half of them.

When I am on the correct ILS glide path and heading, as soon as I activate APP or LOC mode, the aircraft suddenly starts turning to one side for no apparent reason, even though the magenta diamond is perfectly centered on the localizer.

I already updated the aircraft to the latest version using X-Updater, but the issue still persists.

I urgently need assistance, because it took me a long time to be able to buy this aircraft, and now I can barely fly it since this error keeps happening on final approach.

Problem with the 777-300 upgrade

I bought the Flight Factor 777-200 Ultimate from Aerosoft. It works well, but I wanted to upgrade to the 777-300, so I bought the upgrade. This time, I got it from xplane.org, and when I installed XUpdater, I entered my serial number and email address to install the 777. However, when I try to update, nothing happens, and I don't get the update. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and I did see that the 777-200 was extended like the 300, as if X-Plane recognized the upgrade. But the engines and part of the fuselage at the front and rear were missing, and the electronic instruments in the cockpit were malfunctioning. So, I don't know what to do. I don't know if it's because I bought it from Aerosoft and... The other one is on xplange-org, even though both are FlightFactors, I would really appreciate some help please.

It would greatly simplify my B772 handling if I could assign a key on the keyboard to toggle the checklist. Despite numerous attempts and searching the forum, I haven't been able to do this.

Is this even possible? And if so, how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to use the replay mode for the FF 777-300er

I recently just bought the FF 777-300 and i love it. However when i go to replay my landing the spoilers are up mid air and the reverse thrusters don’t have an animation. Neither do the wheels. The replay length is set to 3 minutes.

After update of XP12 to ver 12.4.2 and update of FF777, once the sim is loaded with the aircraft...the gear is in the up position. Unable to lower the gear using the Bravo Throttle Quad gear switch or using the keyboard to lower the gear. All plugins have been removed, rebooted, etc. Still same situation. Unable to upload log.txt....error says it is too large....but I think i may have found the line.....Anyone have any ideas how to address this?

ACARS uplik - invalid logon code for SayIintentions

tried to establish an ACARS uplink on the EFB. Chose SI and the EFB wants to type in the SI API Code. But the EFB only allows 3 digit while the SI API code is much longer. I do not have an Hoppie login. What can I do to establish the ACARS data link. Thanks for hlp

Non-Stop Atis Broadcast in the B777-200

I just completed a wonderful flight from Heathrow to JFK in the B777-200. And while there were a few glitches in the descent I was able to overcome them and arrive on time and comfortable. There was one curious "feature" though which caused some concern in the cockpit. Approaching Canada we started getting a repeating ATIS Metar broadcast and coiuld not find any way to sqwelch it. I tried Google Gemini and as usual it gave me a pile of alternatives, none of which worked or were mis-directed. So... Does anyone know how to turn off the ATIS broadcast in this airplane? My standard solution is to change the broadcast frequency but there is no apparent way to do that in this airplane. Gemini had me looking through the EFB but I could find nothing there either. So if anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate your sharing it here. —SteveH

777v2 loading problem

Hi. After updating my 777v2(via x-updater), it doesn't load anymore. I have the final freeze image before sim opening. i can hear the sim on background, but it doesn't open. The other acf work well.

I re installed the plane and liveries. nothing works. Still the image, no crash

Can't bring speed-brakes up after landing

When I press my assigned button the speed-brakes wont move to the next notch at all and instead almost immediately snap back to full. When I use the handle in the cockpit with my mouse it does the same thing but it still jitters back to full even if I try to force it into the retracted notch.

When landing I set flaps to 25, autobrakes to 3 or 4, speed-brakes to armed, I engage the thrust reversers and disengage the auto-throttle and flight directors on the ground, and I use the APP mode until around 500 ft.

I haven't seen anyone else with this issue so far but it would be great if you could link me to a similar discussion if you end up finding one.

ARIAC Mismatch

Hello, this is a wonderful plane. Ive had it for a while and are now considering getting the 300ER variant. However, I cannot, and I've tried everything, seem to be able to load a simple flight plan on the FMC. All other planes, including the FF A350 and FF 767, are able to read and load .fms plans, but not the 777 200ER. I will explain;

I use Little NavMap to create my plans. I dont use any Sid's not Stars. Just departure airport and runway, waypoints, destination airport and runway. Save plan and export for X-plane 12. It saves all .fms plans on Output/FMS Plans. For the 777 200ER, I even created a separate folder on Custom Data/STSFF/Co-routes. Plans are saved in both .fms and .flp. The only difference is than on the regular FMS Plans folders plans are named for example LEPA-LEIB.fms while on the co-routes folder the plans are named LEPALEIB.fms and LEPALEIB.flp.

On the FF 767 I load the plan in co-route 2, and it works. However, on the 777 200ER, co-route does not do anything and the co-route 2 gives an ARIAC Mismatch message. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I want to fly this beauty (777 200ER) I have to manually enter all waypoints in the FMC. It not ideal. Im afraid to buy the 777 300ER variant and have the same problem.

I do not have simbrief and dont want to have simbrief nor Navigraph. Although I acknowledge that some of you love, and that is perfectly fine, it it's not for me. If Little NavMap works for all other planes, why not on this one. Little NavMap also has a feature to save specifically for the Flight Factor Boeing 777 as a DEPARTIDENT-DESTIDENT.fms, I also save as Aerosoft Airbus and others as DEPARTIDENTDESTIDENT.flp. What am I doing wrong.

Aircraft stuck on splash screen after acivation

Hello. I just got he 777-200ER, but I can't get it to load. Activation is always successful, but it won't load. I tried deleting the main.key, serial.key and states folder. After activation, I reloaded the aircraft as instructed, loaded to the default 172 and immediately quit X-plane and restarting X-Plane. I also redownloaded the aircraft from the org store. I'd love to use it for CTP next week, thanks.

I entered my Vatsim callsign and Hoppie Code in the efb and pressed button to start ACARS.

I do receive metar and taf data via Comm section but never receive VATSIM ATIS information via COMM although ATC is online and ATIS information via XPilot is available.

What can i do to also get VATSIM ATIS via COMM Section of the airplane?

Do i also have to logon here (ATC)?

For now i only entered my data here and thought this should be sufficient to receive ATIS info in the cockpit. But may i am wrong as i have not received ATIS info.

Aircraft begin rolling unstoppable at the gate after parking brake release

When I remove the ground equipment, the plane is starting to roll, even though the parking brake is set, and nothing can stop it anymore, except reaching some kind of flat surface. I tried everything, releasing and resetting the parking brake more times, with the keyboard, or clicking on it, and nothing! I tried to push the brake, but it absolutely did nothing; the plane rolled. The pressure gauge shows the required value for the brakes.

777-300ER Tail Skid Optional Feature

Would like to have the tail skid on the upcoming 777-300ER variant be optional and can be toggled on and off - given some, especially newer 777-300ER models, were shipped without them after a tail strike protection logic being added to the plane’s fly-by-wire system sometime in the early 2010s.

An excerpt from the “Tail Skid” entry from Emirates’ FCOM that clearly stated A6-ENM (airframe pictured on the 2nd pic) does not have a tail skid:

You guys from the FF team, could you change the GE90-90B to the 94B?

I believe it shouldn't require any physical modeling changes, only the data, I think. It shouldn't be difficult for you.

Current engine equipping the FF 777-200ER: GE90-90B = original version (~90k lbs)

What should be the correct engine for the FF 777-200ER: GE90-94B = improved version (~94k lbs + new technology)

For me, this is what's missing to make the 777, at least the structural part, more complete.
