Since it's a fairly cheap Logitech 3D Pro, I was wondering if it's possible to lock the view in a forward view and just use my binded keys to look around? I thought it might be a G Force plugin, but it appears not to be making it extremely difficult to stay oriented during taxi, takeoff and flight. Since my joystick bands are loose, the entire cockpit is shaking all over the place. If I can disable this, it would be fantastic. Great job on the new V12 Osprey!

New X-Plane 12 V-22 Osprey

It would not Course adjust thru 000, meaning you could not go clockwise from ~ 330 thru 000 to 030 or counterclockwise from 030 thru 000 to ~ 330. Fabrice was able to fix it right away in our cockpit object.

We also updated the SASL plugin to the latest version, 3.19.2 and I wrote some code to enable our embedded video camera to compensate for the overabundance of dust kicked up by our Osprey in the latest version of X-Plane, 12.2.0 when attempting to land vertically anywhere, even over a concrete or an asphalt ramp. I even see a little dirt blown up when I go to walk on water ! ;-)

New 1.1 file in the store now.

Also, FYI, there are 24 additional free (as in, no cost) liveries for our Osprey model here at X-Plane.org. Hey there, I love that you guys brought the V22 to XP12! One of my favorite aircraft.

Is it possible that the fuel transfer system is not working as intended? On long flights I will have one of the engines run out of fuel, because I'm not able to transfer fuel in either left or right directions. I have the TPUMP on, and the valve OPEN or AUTO doesn't seem to matter. After doing that and selecting a direction it seems nothing starts to happen.

Any help is very much appreciated, I am using the latest version of XP12. Thanks!

	Dan

Edit: I think part of the anti-ice system may also not be working correctly as well. If you wanted to check that too, maybe it's just me. I dunno.

N204TR was leased back from the US Marine Corp by Bell Helicopter in November of 2011, modified that December and was back in the air at Eglin AFB in January of 2013.

In the summer of 2013 at Eglin AFB N204TR was performing tests as an inflight refueling tanker providing fuel inflight to F/A-18 Hornets through a hose fed out through the open rear cargo ramp.

To create the “KCMV-22T” seen in these screenshots go to our AOA Simulations V-22 Osprey XP12 support page > “KC-130 Tanker for Osprey Tilt-Rotor Air Air Refueling (TAAR) ops” thread and download the KC-130 Tanker model.

	In the KC-130 model’s objects folder “borrow” these four (4) files: RefuelHose.obj, RefuelHose.png, RefuelHose_LIT.png and RefuelHose_NML.png

Copy and paste those files into our V-22 Osprey’s objects subfolder.

Open the V-22 Osprey in Plane-Maker.

Open the “Standard” drop down menu “Objects” panel.

In the bottom left corner of the panel click the “ADD” button to add an empty objects slot at the bottom of the objects list, then use the slider on the right margin of the panel to move to the last entry on the list of loaded objects. It will be the only empty slot.

Click on the square to the left of the empty slot and navigate to our V-22 Osprey’s “objects” subfolder.

Double click on the RefuelHose.obj to load it into the empty slot in Plane-Maker.

Back in Plane-Maker, way over on the left is a CLEAR button.

In the spaces to the right of the CLEAR button enter - 40.00, 46.00 and 8.00 to the left of “aircraft references”, and 000.0, 010.0 and 000.0 to the right of “aircraft references.”

Finally, below the RefuelHose.obj check the hi-res and dim LIT check boxes.

	Save and close.

Back in the simulator, lower the aft cargo ramp before you retract the landing gear so the refueling hose has a clear path to extend out the back of the aircraft.

I am really looking forward to the next few days of learning how to use and fly it correctly.

	Many thanks for this.

When I first downloaded the Osprey I struggled to get off the ground even in a running takeoff with no cargo. I re-downloaded and re-installed and now she has gobs of power, I figured it was something to do with me since no one else was mentioning it on the forums.

There is a topic already on this, but it was closed so I would like to ask a few more questions.

I understand that the joystick needs to be centered with no force applied in order for the autopilot to engage. I first tried with a FFB joystick and could not get it to work so I used another regular joystick (AVA base). Still could not make it to work.

I am at >1000 feet, in APLN mode, trimmed reasonable well, 200 knots ... The works.

	These are my questions:

	1) Does the virtual V-22 actually needs to be trimmed to activate the autopilot as explained in the real life flight manual?

	2) Do I need to press the CPLD button in the flight director panel? I can't activate it although I get the occasional alarm after pressing it.

	3) On a related note, there is no force trim implemented for the simulation, right?

	I will appreciate your guidance.

	Cheers,

	JC

Thank you for an awesome aircraft. The documentation really helped to get me flying. Fantastic depth to the MFD menus, gonna take me a while to learn it all.

One question, what are the three black index marks on both windshields used for?

After yesterdays "new" file failed to resolve everyone's "low torque" issues I stayed up all night (or most of it anyway) investigation, writing new lua code and testing different things until by dawns early light I came up with a solution.

I then sent my files off to Belgium to be tested.

After a few hours I got a clean flight test report back from Fabrice.

I sent the file off to the store a while ago and now I have just been told the "new, new" file is in the store.

Go and get it.

It should be names something like 1.0.1. or 1.0.2 in the store.

Here is a summary of what I did.

1. I removed the Laminar Research/X-Plane FADECs entirely from the model's code and replaced them with my own background Full Authority Digital Engine Control logic.

2. Interim Power is also back in this new version.

3. Without the Interim Power button popped OUT (normal ops) you should see ~ 93% torque with 100% TCL

4. With Interim Power button pressed IN you should see ~ 106% torque with ~ 110% TCL

5. Hover precision is markedly improved. The LR/XP FADEC logic was evidently also messing with prop rotor RPM's.

6. With the flight engineer NOT sitting in the jump seat batting your hand away you can reach up and pop out BOTH FADEC buttons and that will prevent Interim Power from being applied.

7. Likewise, with the Interim Power button pressed IN. Popping out both FADEC button will disable Interim Power from being activated or deactivate it if it was enabled.

The reason for this is that on the real airplane the reserve power accessed by the Interim Power button is held back by FADEC logic. So, if both FADEC are in-op the reserve power is unavailable.

Disabling just one FADEC or the other will transfer control to the remain operational FADEC.

Hello AOA team......I wanna personally thank you for making this aircraft alive again in Xplane12.You guys did a great job on representing this aircraft in visual and system wise in acceptable level from what i notice so far but for a future update to really sell this digital version of the V-22 to higher level I highly recommend a new revamped FMOD sound pack. The current sound pack does not feel right in harmony with the aircraft.......Secondly it would be nice to have some particle effects like for example when you add thrust to the engine in takeoff you should see some dust from the ground due to the engine ramping up for starters and i also recommend it for all your products of aircraft .......but other than these i mention it is a great addon........

Turning on the battery also moves the rotaries for the lights to turn them on. But at night this means the dome light is always on and others can't be turned down or off. Is that intended? For NVG, there should be no artificial lighting, other than dimmed EL panels.
