I was wondering if this was an error made by accident while updating other features, as pilots cannot manually control MCP digit brightness on the B777. It is to my knowledge that the brightness is automatically controlled based on ambient cockpit lighting conditions. It is sometimes the case that increasing the flood brightness on the panel can cause light to leak into the sensors causing the green LED to lighten up a little. Increasing master brightness can cause the MCP digit brightness to adjust slightly to remain legible, but the "turn knob --> digits brighten" logic that is currently implemented isn't accurate. The MCP digits always self-regulate on the 777 to reduce pilot workload, as is the case on the 737 and other Boeing aircraft. The brightness being controlled by the glareshield knob would make it impossible to turn off the panel lights while keeping the numbers visible, which obviously makes no sense.

Here is a CBT video I found on the B777. 4:25 clearly explains and shows that the glareshield knob controls the panel lights, not the MCP values.

If this is an error, please fix it. But now the engine is rotating at such a ridiculous rate (probably 100rpm at most) when idle. When being shutdown it’s almost like the engine is simply milling on a windy day. This applies to all engines in my experience. In general I find the rotation animation needs to be sped up around 4x for all thrust settings.

Latest Beta 12.4.2+ update cause weird windshield effect in VR.

After 12.4.2+ I have noticed a weird jagging effect on windshield, anyone else experiencing this? is like the scenery is moving few seconds slow making it impossible to fly.

I'm using Meta Quest 3 w/ link. others planes are normal, just FF777

777-200ER take off stab trim error

https://1drv.ms/v/c/0907b4d9be53d180/IQDTk7xvm9uKQ4kiScYLtTgNATLVewng1u1yzvqwTSXOMuk?e=V3gNlk

Engine start EICAS needle positionning

Hello

I have noticed that during startup on the 777v2 (300ER and 200ER) the N1 needle does not position itself at the required stabilized N1 value but instead remains at 0. I have attached a picture of how it should look like when the engine autostart sequence is initiated. Notice the commanded N1 needle goes to around 20% N1 idle power as the actual N1 rises. I have noticed that whenever the Autopilot commands a turn during cruise, it applies a large enough Flaperon input for the spoilers to partially deflect. Based on my experience seeing B777 wings in cruise, spoiler inputs usually don't happen persistently at higher altitudes; they are mostly used to assist the ailerons during approach and takeoff phases where more control authority is needed.

Again, not reporting a bug, just asking a question if this is correct.

-Many thanks to the devs for creating an amazing aircraft!!!

Feedback from real 777 pilot stream

I recommend taking a look at this stream for some improvements to the 777.
