Why does Simbrief uploaded FMGS INIT A Cost Index differ from OFP?

When I load a SimBrief flight plan to INIT page 1, the Cost Index shown doesn't match the SimBrief OFP. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there an explanation for it? Is it a bug or a feature?

My INIT page 1 value is always higher than the SimBrief OFP text as e.g. displayed in the EFB Simbrief OFP app. The other INIT values and the F-PLN match the OFP.

[I'm using latest TLS 320 Neo v1.3.2 version. My ISCS is set to Imperial units. My Simbrief OFP is LIDO formatted, and based on Rodeo314's A20N profile. I tried both LEAP and PW engined liveries with same result. Get same CI result whether I use the ACARS download method (Toliss Sim manual p 67, 6.1.1 using INIT REQUEST *), or the alternative AOC method (manual p.81, Sect 8.1 ATSU >AOC MENU>*FLT INIT). Either way I get the same discrepancy between SimBrief OFP and INIT page OFP.

Thrustmaster Airbus throttle problem

Hello,

I've had a problem since the last A320neo update.

When I load the aircraft, the throttle is correctly set to "idle" and the throttle levers work, but during the flight preparation phase, the throttle switches to "reverse full" mode and I can't move the throttle levers.

I have a Thrustmaster Airbus throttle.

I've unplugged and replugged the USB cable, recalibrated several times, and the problem persists.

The log.txt file is impossible to open ???

Cannot set Baro hpa value at approach

Hi,

I have the A320neo V1.3.2 and whenever I'm at the approach/arrival phase I cannot change my Baro hpa value anymore. I can change from std to a value but cannot change the value. It looks to me as if it's directly set back when I want to dial in something.

Engine Shutdown causes massive negative thrust

Was my first flight with the latest update. After landing and taxiing for a few minutes I activated the Yellow Elec Pump and shutdown engine 2 to save some fuel on the way to my gate. This somehow caused a massive negative thrust pushing the aircraft backwards across the whole airport within seconds. Increasing thrust on the remaining left engine caused the aircraft to do circles. The brakes had no chance to stop the aircraft from going backwards. Can someone comfirm this behavior?

X-RAAS2 visual alerts displayed in EFB instead of ND

Dear Toliss developers and community.

Thank you very much for recent updates to the A320 aircraft! I would like to share my observation regarding X-RAAS2 visual alerts.

Since version 1.3.0 with the new EFB features, I see the visual alerts displayed on the EFB instead of the ND. I have made the same observation in the A321 since I updated it today to version 1.9. In the A319 (version 1.11), which I understand does not yet have the new EFB features, the visual alert is still displayed on the ND as it was for the A320 and A321 before the recent updates.

I would like to ask for your support and if other users have the same observation? I have not addressed this yet with the X-RAAS2 developer but thought I would start here for seeking advice as the Toliss software has been recently updated and X-RAAS2 not recently.

Could this refer to the Toliss software and how it integrates the X-RAAS2 plugin features or could it also be related to the plugin configuration which needs to be adjusted to the updated features in the Toliss aircraft (beside new EFB features, maybe the increased re-solution of the ND contributes here)? I find a configuration file "ND_overlays.cfg" in the X-RAAS2 plugin directory, sub-folder "data" which contains the following config:

Toliss a320neo with betterpushback makes x-plane12 crash?

Hello, I have an issue with my toliss/betterpushback plugin. Both are latest version and when i try to do a completely normal flight meaning that I take time to set up the MCDU and stuff like that I then call for pushback. Pushback tug starts driving up and then the game freezes, I get the error messages as you can see down there, when I load back into the sim and speedrun my MCDU and start the pushback again in about 5 minutes after reconnecting, the tug successfully pushes me back on my planned place. However upon disconnecting and driving off the same or similar error hits again following the sim crashing again. When I reload again these problems no longer happen and the rest of the flight is uneventful. When I try to perform a turnaround however, this same ordeal loops back and it happens again and again.

I did some testing to see if it is the basic toliss pushback colliding with betterpushback and i noticed that I can recreate the problem by connecting and disconnecting the toliss tug and then connecting the betterpushback. I of course don't interact with the basic pushback though in any phase of my flight. I did 2 flights on vatsim with all mcdu preps done and on both flights i encountered same issues as described. However when I try to recreate it again by just spawning and calling a betterpushback tug, I don't manage to do so and the pushback is completely without issues. It all feels kind of random given the circumstances.

I'd appreciate any help so i can get back flying asap

Hi all, I have been happily flying the Toliss A321 with my Saitek X52 for some toime and they have both performed well.

I decided a week ago to buy the A320 and a Thrustmaster tca pack to go with it.

However I have been unable to get the Thrust master to satisfactorily connect to either the A320/1.

The quadrant seems ok but the stick itself will operate the nose wheel/ailerons or flaps.

The controls move in the cockpit but not physically when seen from outside.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unable to pull Vatsim ATIS

Hey there,

with the latest updates I'm having issues pulling an ATIS via the ATSU Menu.

Hoppie Code is correctly set in the ISCS Menu and pulling METARs etc. is working perfectly fine.

When looking at the log I can see the following entries:

MouseYoke NOT Working + Toliss / FBW Airbuses: Best Way to Handle this Problem

As is well known, mouse yoke plugins (such as BetterMouseYoke) lose control of the aircraft after takeoff on the ToLiss Airbuses, the FF350, and similar aircraft. After searching for solutions, I found the best way to fix this once and for all.

Most existing workarounds rely on vJoy (a virtual joystick), but vJoy isn't available on macOS, which is exactly my problem, since I use a MacBook.

After digging into the relevant parameters with DataRefTool, I discovered that all you actually need to do is change "sim/operation/override/override_joystick" from 0 to 1. (No vJoy required.)

So I wrote a small script for this. Just drop it into FlyWithLua's Scripts folder. You can conveniently toggle the feature on or off from the menu (and it will be enabled by default if a ToLiss or similar aircraft is detected).

Please see the attached images for detailed instructions.

Should work on X-Plane 11 and 12.

(Of course, you can also skip the script entirely and simply use DataRefTool to change "sim/operation/override/override_joystick" from 0 to 1 yourself)

A320 v1.3.x Screen Reflections Weaker Than Before

Hi,

Since updating the A320 to v1.3.x, I’ve noticed that the screen reflections are weaker than before.

The displays look less reflective compared to:

A320 v1.2.1
A321 v1.8 (same settings, stronger reflections)

I’m using the exact same graphics and lighting settings across all versions, and I have screenshots from A320 v1.2.1, A320 v1.3.x, and A321 v1.8 showing the difference.

It looks like the A320’s reflection strength changed in the 1.3.x update, and the new version appears noticeably weaker than both the older A320 and the A321.

Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just on my end?

Problem Following the Toliss A320 Tutorial

I have been able to successfully complete the Toliss Tutorial Flight up to the approach into Christ Church. My problem occurs on pp. 105-106 of the Toliss Tutorial Manual where ATC has issued instructions to change the ILS runway from 02 to 20, and specifically on p. 106 where we are told to scroll the FMGS until we see the waypoint IDPE1B and click to the left of that waypoint. The problem is I see no such waypoint (and a search of waypoint databases reveals no such waypoint exists). I don’t know what to do in this case, and thus I have not been able to complete a successful approach into Christ Church. Can anyone help me figure out what to do in the absence of this waypoint? Hi! I found a bug in the MCDU PROG Page A320/A320 neo but also in 319/321

Hi, can you please check that out? The picture is MCDU Fo. There I first entered the value EDDM26L, then the value was also entered in the MCDU Cpt and the value on the FO page was put in parentheses. See photo. This is not correct. Test it in exactly the same order first FO then Cpt. 320/1.3.2 is used, but it also affects the previous 319 and 321. Maybe you can fix this. Best regards

XP11, A320 Neo, Linux and Vulkan?

I'm really struggling with having to use OpenGL in X-Plane 11 on Linux. I would like to switch to Vulkan but every time I do, the displays are black (including the battery voltage displays). I read that the A320 Neo should have Vulkan support according to the updates.

Is this a known problem? Are there any other Linux players on XP11 running Vulkan with problems? Is this an XP11 thing, is XP12 better? I don't own XP12 but I'm planning on picking it up when it's next in a sale.

My graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 6400.

Navigraph EFB Menu VS Avitab.

First of all, thank you very much for the amazing update. The newly added integration with Navigraph and SimBrief is fantastic! Just one question, though. On my system after the update, the EFB menu displays "AviTab" instead of "Navigraph," where it normally should be. The reason is obvious since I have the AviTab plugin installed. However, I don't fly exclusively Toliss aircraft, so removing AviTab altogether is not a realistic option for me. Is there a way to choose our preference—between AviTab and Navigraph—within the Toliss A320 settings, and have the corresponding menu appear after a restart? Alternatively, is there any other workaround so I don't see AviTab where it's no longer needed, while still keeping it installed for my other aircraft?
