For those who don't know, Xchecklist is a plugin for X-plane that allows you to create and use self-checking checklists so that it's as if you had a co-pilot confirming your actions, as well as making sure that you perform the correct procedures. I have followed as closely as possible the original published by VSKYLABS , removing things that do not make sense in a simulation or systems not implemented in the model and adding some items related to minimum operating procedures. 
Don’t hesitate to give me feedback on what things can be improved or what things are wrong. Especially, ask me freely about what you don't understand or if there is any step that you don't know how to do correctly.

I will be especially grateful to @VSKYLABS if he gives me any suggestions.

Would it be possible to add the option to open only the passenger door instead of the entire cargo door for greater realism?

I remembered that C-47 has blower high/ low controller on left side of the cockpit, but I can't find it in DC-3. Does DC-3 have it? How do I control it?

Also, as I am on the tarmac right now with both engines off, both MP needles show 30. Is this normal?

Was thinking about the DC-3 especially during the 10th anniversary sale.

What is the real practical difference between these two airplanes apart from the military vs passenger airline type of thing.

Is it the "Advanced Avionics & Autopilot - Fully featured glass cockpit based on the LR G1000"

I just wonder if I get the DC-3 and enjoy the G1000, will I maybe stop using the C-47? 🤔

DC-3 is wonderful!

Still, some very minor issues.

• Oil pressure gauge has one needle off.

• Tanks fuel quantity inducator is live when battery is off. I believe (I have no technical doc on the subject) that when battery is off no system is live. The checklist procedure requires battery ON prior to test.

• Oil Temp and Carb Air left gauges have a low temperature of 50 instead of -50, as opposed to the right ones.

• Fuel pressure R-needle does not move during the Interior inspection stage of the Checklist.

I am having troubles at landing with the DC3/C47. It loops with nothing. I let the plane descend slowly and do not remove throttle fast. It loops almost always at low speed. Wheel is also locked.

Tried the free mod and doesnt do that.

Read that u improved that but I find it toooooo hard.

I found that adding weight makes it more manageable but with low weights is too sensitive imo.

Ground handling seems to be a bit like that but is more manageable.

Any comments?

I was debating between this DC-3 and the LES version; yesterday, I decided to go with the DC-3 NXG, primarily because it offers a G1000. Since I love vintage airplanes, and since I have the RSG G1000 Suite, this was a perfect fit for me. I love how this plane handles and the depth of simulation and ease of setup in XP12.

Interestingly, however, the G1000 is not displaying any engine/fuel/system data in the MFD (or PFD in reversionary mode). Is this intentional, a bug, an issue with just my system, or subject to a future update? It would be helpful to have this data displayed in the MFD so I don't have to pan my view down to check these systems on analog gauges. I would prefer seeing everything I need on my G1000 MFD.

I believe the manual has some screenshots where engine/fuel/system data is displayed, but also some screenshots where it is not displayed, which is a bit confusing.

The update is available via the Skunkcraft updater. The store package was updated to latest NXG v1.0 version.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The NXG update is HUGE, covers nearly 100% of the product assets and files. It is highly recommended to download the new NXG v1.0 build from your store account.

• The NXG upate includes fundamental modifications to key/Joystick assignment and interactions. If you are using a stable version of the product, it is highly recommended to make a local backup before initiating the auto-updater!

• The NXG update includes deep modeling and textures modifications. Various 3rd party liveries may require minor modifications. All former Interior paints are incopatible with the NXG update!

• Update 'safety' Tip: Simply ZIP your stable VSKYLABS DC-3/C-47 aircraft folder before initiating the update! This will allow you to revert back to the previous model if needed!

What's new in NXG v1.0?

The NXG update process was planned and executed as an exciting virtual aircraft 'restoration' process, similar to the process done in real-world!

• Aircraft de-construction, re-engineering and reconstruction included:

• Massive internal-engineering reconstruction.

• Massive graphics update + new liveries.

• Deep systems update.

• Deep flight dynamics re-engineering and validation.

• VSKYLABS 'Cockpit Builders Heaven' implementation (a real 'land-slide' in systems/switches/levers assignment system).

1 small thing I noticed in the DC3 - the right fuel boost does not provide any fuel pressure. The switch functions, the switch dataref reacts, but no pressure.

Left fuel boost works.

They both work in the C47, this seems to be just in the DC3

I am doing a complete Xchecklist strictly following the checklist published in the POH manual, and at the moment, I can't find a couple of controls that I don't know if they are simulated on the plane or not.
Specific:
- HATCH EXHAUST - SECURE
- FIREWALL SHUTOFFS - OPEN

I have released an X-keypad profile if anyone is interested. It works on the StreamDeck XL and Plus and features a ton of switches, displays, indicators, options and aids to assist flying this great aircraft! (including fuel and weight and balance loading etc)
