During a flight, I transferred some fuel but was quite busy and forgot to switch off the transfer.

So, Left tank was full and Right tank was empty, OK my mistake.
But the values seem off:

Besides, for my information, is there any fuel jettison mechanism when the left tank is full but the pump is still active ?
Unless I missed that paragraph, I did not find the info in the manual.

During the taxi phase at the start of the flight the brakes will work several times before they fail. When they fail I can see the toebrakes depress in the aircraft when I press on the hardware pedals, and the park brake handle will rise and fall as and when I activate the hardware parking brake handle but the aircraft rolls onwards.

This failure seems to trigger other issues and the landing gear won’t retract, again the gear handle moves up and down in the aircraft as I action the gear handle on the Honeycomb Bravo TQ, even a keyboard command to raise the gear doesn't work.

XP is updated to the current released version (non beta). 12.4.1.4

The aircraft is updated via Skunkcrafts, it was also reloaded from the store and it still failed.

Exit XP12 and reload and the aircraft will invariably work correctly once or twice.

Suspecting plug-ins most of them have been removed - no change, works correctly once or twice then fails.

Testing other aircraft and so far no repeat of the problem, even the Aerobask DA42 (almost as nice as the DA50!) but as I say the problem is intermittent just to add to the fun.

Next step is probably to follow the advice from Realsimgear and downgrade XP12 to v12.3.x as I have their G1000 units and the problem seemed to start after an XP update - and they have posted advice not to update albeit for different RSG units to mine.

Any clues?

In the cockpit, depending on the angle of view, there are parts of the seatbelt which do block the view forward or outside. Is there a way to remove the seatbelts, e.g. like "y" to remove the stick in the Cessna 17?

The fuel transfer seems to work correctly, pulling fuel from the aux to the main.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Example : OAT is 29C, oil is 16C, coolant is 49C, gearbox is 33C.

From where those temps coming from?, how coolant on cold and dark plane can be almost 50C?

During prolonged tarmac time ( engine off ), all temps going up, so we have coolant which is 54C, gearbox which is 41C, and oil 27C...

( did not want to observe it longer, so i do not know where is upper limit with temperature trend )

Another thing caught my eye is that temp. of fuel during flight is higher than OAT - usually by few degC up to 20C ( max observed )

What causes fuel temperature to raise?, for sure it is not air friction as such is negligible for low and slow GA, and plane is built from resin which is roughly 500 times less thermal conductive than aluminium.

Apparently lifespan for this project has ended, so no sense to write more here.

Wish DA50 would be developed further, but most probably it is only my day dreaming.

Another question - where do i find textures for landing/taxi lights?

If possible I would like to modify those for my personal use.

I noticed something with the Diamond DA50 (Aerobask). When I press the FADEC auto test button, the plane cycles through the whole process, without the throttle moving. However, when I go into replay mode, the plane cycles as before AND the throttle lever is moving accordingly. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, how can I fix this, so the lever is animated under normal operating conditions? Even better, any suggestions as to using Mobiflight would also be great.

Other than that, I think the Diamond DA50 is a great plane, so much so, that I built a very simple button and switch panel loosely resembling the DA50 panel and used Mobiflight to program it!

I flew like that about 90nm.

On purpose i did not use plane deice systems to see how icing effects are done.

Nothing happens - windshield stays crystal clear, neither engine nor wings got frosted...

Would you check if after all XP updates plane still is able to properly simulate icing ?

Even pressing W for the XP default view had no effect and need to load a different aircraft before the view stabilises.

This spinning veiw did not occur in a PA28 (think it was the stock XP 'plane) so ran the Skunkcrafts updater in case my DA50 model was broken - no broken or updated files noted.

Just me or a consequence of the .4 beta??

Although it does work very nicely and my Real Sim Gear hardware shows the Laminar G1000 screens these are different to those engineered by Aerobask in the DA50 (and others in the fleet no doubt).

Is this likely to change in future updates so Aerobask G1000 screens are shown instead of the Laminar versions and we can avoid the dreaded drag/drop/resize routine?? (PLEASE!!!)

did anyone ever notice that the propeller is way too small on the Aerobask DA50?
