Q&A:

1. Q: How to control avatar in "Pre-flight inspection mode"?

    A: Use button "WASD" for move and "Space" for look arround.

2. Q: Will the be support VR?

    A: Yes in next patch a few day we are made full support VR.

3. Q: Why i don't see start menu on my multiscreen configuration?

    A: Pls. Use single screen configuration for launch aircraft. We work on correct this situation.

4. Q: Why on my Mac OS i don't see activation window for first launch?

    A: Add to trusted system files folder from aircrafts (RuSky Group - TAF Sling 2 SLA\plugins\SASL\).

5. Q: I don't see activation window on my multi-monitor configuration.

      A: Change configuration to single and activate aircraft. We work for fixed this problem.

Known bugs:

- Garmin G5 poor looks
- In 2D panel for X1000 propeller rpm instead of engine  rpm. (Bug from simulator, sent request for Laminar Research) ❓
- On grass is brake not worked
- Front panel don't have shadows
- Cook inside transparent
- Correct transparent for side prop
- On the audio panel the PASS button is inoperable (all the rest is good)
- The texture of the VSI dial on the autopilot is not well configured, if you keep rotating it, it will turn black and have a sharp edge to it
- Fixed LIT for fuselage
- Can't trim when engine is stopped in flight (and no wind noise)
- Oil temperature is now too high on the ground, it is immediately in the green when started, and can easily go into the red during run up (in flight with cooling air it is better)
- Roll tendency to the left in cruse flight is still there

I fly sling 2's and no longer use Xplane 11 for my flight training, is there a possibility of an X12 Update or any update if progress is being made? really love the design and would love to have a reason to purchase this plane to further my training!

I want to duplicate every switch on the Sling2 model including the fuel selector switch.

So far all I can duplicate is the flap switch.

I have tried to use the standard Xplane 11 tags without success.

Can I get a list of tags of all the switches that you use on the Sling2 model?

• On my other airplanes, I can use the brakes on my Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals.  It seems that the only way I can get the Sling 2 to brake is by using the brake (stick brake) in the center console.  Is there a way to use the toe brakes on my rudder pedals instead?
• I have similar problems using my Alpha Flight Controls:
  1. My ignition switch does not work.
  2. My master/avionics switches do not work.

Am I missing something?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance for new liveries in the future ?

Please, please.  Can we get a Sling 2 model without the wheel pants too?  Lots of Sling 2's flying around without the  wheel pants.  ZU-TDR a good example.

I just wanted to say that, although I was critical of the use of a certified G1000 in a LSA, I decided to buy the Sling 2 after seeing just how much the developers improved things, in their first v1.1 patch....

I'm pleased to say that I am so happy with this plane.   It flies fantastically (I own a TL-96 Sting; similar aircraft with the same engine).  The speeds and numbers are excellent, RPM at 5800 on take off gives a very realistic climb out performance and bringing RPMs back to max continuous 5500 RPM again gives very close numbers for climb and cruise.

The sounds are excellent, the walkaround feature is fun and immersive and I soon forgot about the G1000 and enjoyed all of the other great aspects that this plane brings.

If you love Rotax and low wing LSAs / Ultralights, this is the best around IMHO.

first of all, thank you for this plane, it is the closest thing to the Sonaca 200 that I am training on (basically a Sling 2 but with some modifications, a different engine than the one modelled, etc.).

It is getting late here, and I only have time for a bigger review over the weekend, but here is a list of small bugs that I noted in the first test patterns.

- Propeller animation (while running) has some issues, seems like there are some radial textures that stay constant inside the propeller's plane, their angle depends on the camera angle, but stay stationary (120 degree apart - so 3 of these is visible at a time), something is not rendered properly there. (See attached image.)
- You can see through the prop spinner (some 3D object definition issue, clearly the dome of the spinner is transparent from inside) (See attached image.)
- The resolution of the backup GARMIN is horrible, I do hope this is just a mistake (See attached image.)
- There is no stall warning sound, is this normal?
- No 3D pilot from the outside view makes replays very strange, is this planned?
- The engine modelled is a different than what we have in a Sonaca 200 (we have a TCU), so I can not comment on it in detail, but it is in any case strange that the engine starts sputtering basically immediately when full power is set, with high RPM fluctuations, even though it should definitely be fine for a few minutes on Full Power (5800 RPM)
- Feels a bit overly unstable at low speeds, and seems to need a bit too much rudder to avoid left rolling tendency in cruise flight, but have not experimented enough to be sure. Would like other people's feedback about this.
- I need to figure out if I can use toe brakes instead of the brake commands, seems like I can not keep full brake with the toe brakes now (The Sonaca 200 has differential toe brakes and not a center brake, that is why I am trying to fly the Sling 2 as not intended a bit cheating, but it was in any case strange that with my toe brake axes I could not keep the plane stationary, only with the parking brakes).
- I have seen some strange reflections at night on the fuel caps and the taxi and landing light housing, feels like some alpha channels might be messed up there, but I had not enough time to experiment here.
- Power off stall (I had no time to try other configurations) feels like it is a rudder-kick induced spin entry, as the speed slowly drops it is a very sudden fast tilt to left or right from a balanced level horizon situation, like 45 degree and then it stops as abruptly as it started without basically any control entry, which feels unrealistic. Need more testing time, but felt strange.

On the bright side (again, not a full list, just observations from the first patterns):

+ Love the walkaround and on the ground options, nicely done.
+ Overall the model is pretty nice, and textures (except for the backup Garmin as mentioned) are good and realistic.
+ Sound is good, flap does sound a bit too loud though.
+ The flight model feels really really well done (except for the mentioned strange stall and a bit overdone rudder requirement in cruise). 

I plan to do a video review over the weekend.
