During the development process of the SkyScout update v1.1, I ended up making such a huge amount of changes and improvements. So there is no SkyScout v1.1 update anymore, instead SkyScout v2 is coming soon.

The new version 2 will be delivered at no cost, as a regular update, for all owners of SkyScout v1.0 paid license.

SkyScout v2 will provide some new features, but the biggest change is a more realistic design, virtual bezel, and softkey driven functions.

There is no ETA yet, and it will take still some weeks to finish and test it, plus new manuals edition.

As soon as I have a beta version, I will publish it and interested licensed users (only) will be able to download the beta and try it.

It is in early stage of development  and it will take some time to complete, but I would like to share the fist steps:

  • New radio display on the bottom of the MFD autopilot, engine and elevation panels.
  • Selected values for autopilot now also available in the MFD panel.
  • Elevation panel now shows engine instruments and radio display.
