If I start up X-plane in 2D, the menu system and panels work perfectly. However, if I start in VR or switch to VR once X-Plane has loaded, I do not see the white arrow in the cockpit and am unable to access the menu system, unless I remove my headset and click on the arrow on the monitor using my mouse. Once I have clicked on the arrow, the menu is then visible in VR and I am able to interact with it, however I am still unable to see the 2D pop-up panels.

Is it possible to active the 'Battery Isolation' switch on the 'AAPP' panel via a dataref command? I see when I hover over the switch it is listed as 'thranda/buttons/Button65' but when this command is activated nothing happends.

I don't know how I didn't spot this before, but in V1.9 for XP12, for some reason, the external windows object file looks like it's been miscopied. The point data is all incorrect and it's referring to the incorrect pngs.

Not sure if it's deprecated datarefs, but there's now no nav or com radios working. Although you can set the freqs, X-Plane doesn't read them, the instruments don't read them (e.g. there's no ILS or ADF etc) and the ATC window actually tells you the aircraft has no power.

The autopilot also doesn't seem to be working at all, although it powers up and engages.

Log attached from a vanilla XP with a fresh install of the aircraft. Seems to be some dataref and SASL issues?

	Hi

First of all, I have to tell you all at Just Flight that the Vulcan model in X-plane is the best modelling I have EVER used in a flight sim. And in VR, you can almost smell the inside of the cockpit!

I've just upgraded to version 1.8 for use in X-plane 11.50 but I seem to have lost the Side Menu Arrow in the VR view. I'm probably doing something daft or maybe have forgotten how to get it visible. Anyone got any bright ideas?

It's to be said firstly that the Vulcan is the most amazing piece of software I've ever done anything with at all, let alone fly!!!!

But we are here today to grumble about using it in VR, as I do. It's the teeny little hit zones on the switches. An example, and one of the main offenders, is the array of fuel switches between the seats. Having to grab/zap and pull those with a VR hand controller is hard work. It seems if we have switches thus

     S S S S

then the hit zones provided are

     H H H H

Surely, it would be nicer for us and not detract from the model in any way, if the hit zones for these tiddly little switches were more like

  HHHHHHH HHHHHHH HHHHHHHH HHHHHHHH
  HHHSHHH HHHSHHH HHHHSHHH HHHHSHHH
  HHHHHHH HHHHHHH HHHHHHHH HHHHHHHH

It might stop me "cheating" by searching for datarefs to ping instead (which I do, but that's another post...).

Another slant to make it easier in a non-detracting way might be to make them toggle rather than grab-and-pull (is this possible?), so you only have to "zap" them to switch, as with the push-buttons.

The air switches on the far right are perhaps worse, but they're very close to each other and so perhaps not much can be done for them (apart from pinging datarefs...).

I think the floating led frequency display is an absolutely brilliant way of bridging the authenticity-workability gap. You get an award for that one! More stuff like that please.

	Keep up the good work!!

(Any chance of the other V-force bombers, or maybe even a TSR2? We like it hard!!)

You can either do this in VR or in 2D.

With the aircraft loaded, open both the ACP and AAPP windows via the arrow menu.

Resize both the windows down to around half the screen height. You'll need to grab the bottom corners as they are bigger than the window (on my screen, anyway).

Go into VR mode (if not already). Open MoveVR via the Plugins menu.

Click on the horizontal arrow beside Plugin Windows to open the menu.

Click on the horizontal arrow beside SASL3_Tbient (SASL3) to open the sub-menu.

There will be a list of windows with sizes. If the last windows you opened in the aircraft were the ACP/AAPP windows they should be on the bottom.

For those windows, open up the menu for each window and select Move to VR.

Once they are in VR you can reposition them by grabbing the top edge of the window but they don't resize like a normal VR window does - that's why you have to resize them first. If you need to change the window size, select Move to 2D to put them back on your monitor to resize with a mouse.

Good luck, I hope this works for other people. I really enjoy a cold and dark start with this aircraft.

		Cheers, Craig

Afternoon all. Hope someone can help me here.

I can't get the engines to spool beyond about 10%. AS far as I can tell, I've followed the checklists as carefully as I can with one exception - they seem to say all engine air switches have to be off before hitting the rapid start button, but in that configuration they don't spool at all. With the air switches all open they'll spool to about 10% for a few seconds then wind down and stop. That happens on both the rapid start and one-by-one methods.

On the middle of the main panel, my fuel pressure indicators are white (all pumps are on, with and without crossfeed etc) but the engine management(?) indicator between them is black. My apologies I forget what it's proper label is. I take it to mean that either the fuel pressure or engine management isn't working.

I'd highly appreciate if someone had a detailed step by step startup procedure including which panel each function is on as I'm clearly missing something somewhere and I'd very much love to be able to start her up properly rather than giving in to frustration and loading her ready-started..!

Many thanks in advance to someone with the patience to help an idiot out!

	Has anyone had this issue?

The sounds of the landing gears plays, yet the landing gear stays down.

In the bomb bay, I can get the two 177s and fuel tanks to show graphically. but regardless of livery, i can not get the mk13s (I see the bomb racks, just not the bombs themselves) or blue steel (again, can see the housing but never the missile). i thought maybe it was something that wasn't implemented and then i saw fslite's extensive vulcan review. boy was i shocked when i saw both displayed and dropping/firing. what am i missing? even looked in xplane settings, but see nothing. any help much appreciated.
