	I just bought this and have an issue where XPlane 11 crashes to desktop when I have selected this aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	I have not even been able to get to the point where I can activate it. I got a vrconfig error message so I tried removing the vrconfig text file from the aircraft menu. Having done this the aircraft loaded  but no activation window appeared, no clickspots worked and an oil can is sitting on top of the engine cowling.
</p>

	During take-off, the sound is normal, you can hear the propeller and engine running

	But already in flight I hear only "noise" in headphones and without

	Unfortunately, most videos on the web contain music<br />
	but in the videos without music from the SP-30 (you can hear the propeller and the engine in the cabin)

	I have the sliders set correctly<br />
	and the plane version is version 2.0 and all I hear is noise<br />
	(I know the sound is plugin controlled and there have been some updates but I have the latest version)

	Hello,

<p>
	I have just purchased the SP-30 and installed it into my Xplane aircraft folder. I have followed the instructions provided in the manual and the aircraft loaded up fine. I am then presented with the activation window. At this point I have a good 70FPS. I type in my activation key and activate the aircraft, then I reload the aircraft as per the installation instructions. It is at this point that my FPS drops down to 1 FPS! I have also noticed that once I activate the aircraft my CPU time goes from 0.014 to 0.785.
</p>

<p>
	I quit Xplane and rebooted my PC thinking this was just a glitch, no luck. I still only get 1 FPS with the SP-30 loaded. I have loaded the same flight configuration with all of my other installed aircraft and I get a good 40-60FPS with both payware and default aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	I would greatly appreciate anyones help with this issue.

	Today I encountered a problem not mentioned in the manual (I think):
</p>

<p>
	I am at an airport with an OAT of about -2 °C and light precipitation and after a while I can see ice buildup on the wings, fuselage and tail of the aircraft. At first I did not think much of it apart from "nice touch", but then on my takeoff run the speedometer did not come alive (no pitot heat? I removed the cover in my preflight walkaround) and more critically I also did not manage to get airborne. Probably due to the ice buildup I can so evidently see.

<p>
	Is there any way to deice the plane and keep the pitot tube from freezing? I tried the "Universal De-ice tool" found here which detected a "light ice buildup" but so far I did not get it to work. 	Hello, I am now using a "FFB2 sidewinder" with your aircraft, as well as the XPForce plugin set with the file you supplied with the aircraft. I wanted to know if we can reverse the trim axis, because the centering of the joystick is reversed with xpforce. when i do "trim down" the joystick in the plane moves up but my joystick moves down. I don't know how to fix this problem. Sorry for the gibberish. XD

	First, Thanks Mad Flight Studio for this- a quirky plane that rewards your efforts to get to know it. Picked it up at the .org sale and am very happy, look forward to spending more time with it. It's one of those planes that's just fun to fly.
</p>

<p>
	For new users, a few points that took me  a while to figure out:
</p>

<p>
	On the walk around, its easiest to use the predefined views. I had an exterior view mapped but that did not work.  The pre defined views are exactly where they need to be.
</p>

<p>
	The click spots are a bit small for some of the items, like the engine cowling.  Slowly move your mouse until you see the hand, then you've found it.  For the tie downs zoom in and look for the attaching rings under each wing and the tail.
</p>

<p>
	The fuel drain drove me nuts trying to get it to work-you need to find the clickspot on the ground under and slightly behind the drain for the table and flask, then click the drain.
</p>

<p>
	When you're spinning the prop in order to check the oil level, it seemed when it made a sound the level was ready to check.
</p>

<p>
	As far as cooling and controlling the flaps, think of what kind of airflow you are getting at the moment, and watch the gauges.  On the ground or on takeoff, you want maximum cooling airflow so open them up , especially if its been cold and you had hem closed to help warm up).  As you get going and the airflow increases you can ease closed the flaps- keeping the oil and coolant at an optimum temp.  When on approach and slowing to land I open them back up.  
</p>

<p>
	brakes- I use the differential braking .lua script and that partially works.  I ended up making a separate control profile and mapping "hold brakes regular" as per the manual, works fine, just throttle down until you throw the chock blocks out.
</p>

<p>
	It's not hard to operate if you read the manual and approach it in the spirit of operating a real piece of machinery.  If you've run a plane with the REP this is similar.  Don't be afraid of the systems detail, it's logical and not hard to work with. This is a rewarding little plane!

	I just installed the new SP-30 ver 2.0 and activated. All works fine so far except for the brakes using rudder pedals. It worked in the previous version.

	Problem is when I test spin, sometime speed exceeded and flap was stuck(I did not use flap but it is a flaperon!) and aileron is also stuck! and I crash and I died.

	I have had the same issue two times. After a while flying the controls don't respond and the left aileron is blocked. What could be the reason? The stick has movement, the right aileron too but the left one is locked. Consequentely the crash is served <span><span class="ipsEmoji">😞</span></span>

	I love the SP-30. It's a joy to fly and there's a feeling of needing to be careful that I don't get with other planes. Thing is I want to fly this plane like a bush plane and i'm concerned about that fragile little landing tricycle snapping off if I come in for a super STOL landing on a mountain. What we (and by "we" i guess I mean "I") need is a SP-30 conversion. An "extreme edition". I'm thinking a turbo charged engine, a tail dragger conformation with jumbo tyres for dropping out of the sky onto a stoney river banks to say - HELLO, and some "mad" paint jobs.

	Hi, I just bought this lovely plane but i'm not able to use in VR because of a massive hit to the frame rate (looks like something is using all the VRAM) then crash (log attached). I tried turning off all the plugins but same issue. I loaded up some other planes just in case and they were fine. I also notice an error with the VR config file and for the short time i had in VR in this plane i noticed the throttle lever was a linear interaction with VR controllers. I'm using xp 11.5b6. any help much appreciated.

	Does anyone know if there’s a refuel plugin for helicopters?

	Now you have to be parked on a ramp to get refueled but most emergency helicopters like rescue and police services are placed somewhere random on the airport. <br />
	 
</p>

<p>
	It would be great if there would be a plugin when you can request a fuel truck anywhere on the airport regardless where you are parked!

	Hi,

	As it is mentioned in the manual so as it is supposed to be: <em>if the "save" option is selected all switches and system will stay in the same position....</em>
</p>

<p>
	Now I can say that on my side it's never been the case somehow. It's been a while that I wanted to open a topic about it but I was busy with new aircrafts.
</p>

<p>
	Anyway I missed my lovely SP-30 so I got back to her for flying during one week. Same as before I've noticed that the oil level wasn't moving. Sometimes it does normaly and other times without changing any option it gets back to the maximum level by itself. Naturelly after many flights the level should be lowest. I didn't really pay attention at the very beginning even if I had detected something suspicious. I think I've already talked about the oil level when she was released, not sure.
</p>

<p>
	Lately I made more than 10 hours flights and decided to check carefully each system, each switches. Of course always starting from cold &amp; dark.
</p>

<p>
	"Back in the days" Ive also noticed that the "machine hours time" wasn't coherent but I thought it was because of the last update and it happened two or three times that my hours time lost all my previous hours flights. But i always thought about a bug because of new xplane beta or else ?
</p>

<p>
	I could left the plane doors open a few swtiches ON on purpose. Close Xplane reload it with the SP-30, it didn't save anything, doors were closed and pure cold and dark switch off. Only the parking chock, flaps position the pitot cover were as the state as left previously (I just made the test right now again)
</p>

<p>
	So that I decided lately to test again but deeply. 3 weeks ago was my last flight indicated 88,2 hours. I didn't change a thing (I insist on that)
</p>

<p>
	6 days ago I had new airplanes to fly but as I said the SP-30 is such a great animal that I missed her and decide to fly again.
</p>

<p>
	When I checked my machine hours time it was indicated 77,6? Why? I have no idea I use the very same model same registration.
</p>

<p>
	The level oil was at its maximum level. Why? Ok I decided to continue my investigation. I fly the SP-30 everyday since 8 days and <span>:</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>Since ten days to yesterday it goes from  Day one 88,2, Day two: 77,6 and other days: 79,2 - 81,5 - 81,8 - 71,2 - 73,1 - 73,7 - 74,2 - 76,6 - 78,4 - and guess what this morning 70,1!!! <span class="ipsEmoji">😕</span><span class="ipsEmoji">😡</span></span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>it's easy to notice that something goes wrong in my machine hours time, it's not very coherent.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>Same for the oil level that moves eratically. During those flights, it was naturally getting lowest but it gets back to the maximum level this morning like if I paid someone to refull my oil by night while I'm sleeping? I didn't, I don't believe in ghost so who did it?<span class="ipsEmoji">👁️</span> You?<span class="ipsEmoji">🧐</span> (kidding buddy) <span class="ipsEmoji">🥳</span></span>

	Hi,

<p>
	I just bought this plane today and must congratulate you on the level of passion and depth that has been invested into making it.
</p>

<p>
	It is truly beautiful in all areas; modeling, textures, sound and flight handling characteristics.  In fact, I think it has the most realistic <em>flight dynamics</em> of any plane I'm flown in any simulator.
</p>

<p>
	Some feedback though on some aspects that, for me, can make it frustrating.
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		The failure rate on this model is far too high.  Especially on the control surfaces.  Eg.  My first ever flight after buying it - a 1 hour cross country flight in Orbx Washington.  After 1 hour of flying, and on approach into KTIW my left flaperon fails, the plane is uncontrollable and I crash. <span class="ipsEmoji">😒</span>  ....... I guess I failed to check the flaperon in question, during the ground check.  That should not, however, mean that it should automatically fail.  How often to control surfaces fail in aircraft, regardless of whether they were checked on the walk around?
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	When the first REP (Reality Expansion Packs) were released, they had these problems too - failures were just too likely and frequent.
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		I think it would be great to have a "ready to fly" automatic engine start feature available.  Sure, I know it is complex and you put a lot of work into it's development, but again, if a user is having some problems with, for example, engine start, sometimes it may be desirable to bypass this process, in order to fly.   I know that the plane will load with the engine running, using the X-Plane setting for this.   But it is far nicer when the plane can be loaded with the engine off, and <em>some</em> ground work can be done (eg. refuelling) before then - on some occasions - choosing to bypass all the programmed starting conditions; to just go fly.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	It's a gorgeous plane, but it can be frustrating with the frequency of these control surface failures.  Still, all round, it is a MUST HAVE model!
</p>

<p>
	I would buy any other aircraft you developed, in a heart beat.
</p>

	As you can see on the "detected failures", i don't have any of one, but no matter what, I can start my usual checklist, the engine fails as the starter does as well...
</p>

<p>
	There is no failure activated in Xplane option as u can see on the pic. Even if I try to fix all failures in Xplane the two failures reappear again at the next attempt automatically? Just weird...
</p>

<p>
	I was using Flyagi (utility smart tweak and tools) I do not know if that put a mess in my files? I suspect it but it's also possible to desactivate the plug in Xplane without being obligated to restart Xplane, you just have to reload all lua script files which I have done but that didn't change anything, failures get back right away once I try to start the engine.
</p>

<p>
	Could that plug be the cause of this issue or any other idea?
</p>
