ambience pro killing framerates x plane 12

hello

recently purchased ambience pro. have it installed in x plane 12 and my framerates have gone from 60 down to 5. when i pull up the plugin manager its showing its utilizing about 50 to 52 fps. if i disable it shoots back up to 60fps. any suggestions. I am not sure why its so hungry for framrates. but its making x plane un flyable

any help would be greatly appreciated. i have moved all my sliders to minimium as well and not change

Live weather not loading

Just bought this product and activated it. I'm on Mac and it takes 3 minutes for xplane to load now. Till now I have loaded Xplane several times but could not get the plugin to load live weather once. Every time I click on start live weather it says requesting data and after 1-2 minutes it automatically switches to customisable weather.

Please help me @EgorHST sir.

Hello! I purchased xAmbience Pro for X-Plane 11 today and unfortunately found that it doesn't seem to be working properly for me. In the user interface, "SERVER NOT AVAIL" is displayed in the bottom left corner. And when I try to turn on Live Weather in the user interface, it doesn't work. I have disabled the firewall on my PC to test if it has something to do with it. But unfortunately, that didn't help me.

Can I apply for a refund if nothing helps?

I am having the same issue, have tried reinstalling but still showing up with not available.

It was working yesterday, it stopped working today.

Since then i have done a clean reinstall of X-Plane 11 then adding only the addon with no success.

Loving the addon and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Xplane knows the plugin is there, but in the plugins tab, I cannot access the plugin. I've reinstalled the plugin multiple times during the day but to no avail.

It would be amazing to be able to adjust airport lighting intensity in the same menu where you adjust lights intensity and bloom.

At night you can clearly see the runways from 20 miles away, which is very unrealistic. I tried ITC lighting adjustment FlyLua script but of course seems like xAmbiance updates the dataref every frame.

After launching X-Plane 11 it takes 3 minutes and 23 seconds to load the X-Plane home screen. Is this expected behaviour? I've attached my log. I'm on an M1 MacBook Pro. Thanks for working to keep X-Plane 11 fresh!

[FIXED] Server connection issue

All, I had the "servers offline" issue over the weekend and attempted to reinstall, since that was past solution, still no luck and ran out of activations. HST Support informed me that the servers were offline and they were working on a fix/update, hopefully within the week. So I wouldn't reinstall, but wait for the news of the fix from HST. I will update the post if I get an update on the fix.

Hi,

Reinstalling my good old XP11, I'm also trying to reinstall xAmbience Pro.

So I clicked on activate, waited until the wizard appears, completed the steps then restarted X-Plane as required. X-Plane became very slow to start on the "Initialize plugins" step, and when launching a new flight, xAmbience is visible into the plugin manager, but not in the "Plugins" menu, however eating 20fps... When reloading the plugin, the wizard reappears.

Fresh install, no other plugin or scenery. Linux.

Any advice ? Thanks

Hello guys i have This annoying problem when sunset comes. Is this normal? How can I fix it?
Another thing I noticed is that I don't have the sky presets and the choice of the type of clouds as shown in the photos.

Hello, this looks great. But I am wondering what I will need to do with some of my other plugins. Currently I use a lot of these, but probably the only ones directly relevant to xAmbiance are Enhanced Skyscapes, XVision, Four Seasons, ActiveSky, and a couple of lua scripts controlling lights and water rendering. I am pretty sure I also have some cloud texture replacements. Do I need to remove ES, Four Seasons and the lua scripts and reverse xVision changes, or will xAmbience just override them all and I can leave them in place? Would I need to restore the default cloud textures (if I can even remember what I replaced)?

How does xAmbience affect frame rates?

I came across this add-on in the store and reading the description looks very promising and has me excited to try it. I've long been trying to find a replacement for the way default clouds look. I tried UWXP but it destroyed my frame rates. So my question is, before I buy it, does xAmbience affect frame rates and if so, how much? I only get 60 to 70 FPS so a big drop would make XP11 unplayable.

[SOLVED] Dark cocpit problem

I've the problem, that I get automatically a bright cockpit at gate and before take off although the local time showed outside the aircraft darkness.

During climb and CRZ the cockpit is dark respectively illuminated by my own settings. During desend, about FL150 the cockpit becomes bright again automatically.

winter textures

nhey, I change between some airports where I should see snow but nothing change. The app asked me twice if I would change groundtextures, what I had done. But the textures always green.

1. Anchorage

2. Rovaniemi Finland ( there is defenitly snow 🙂

I copy the scenery folder to xambience like you describe on other posts. What I have to do? Any suggestions?

I was just reviewing the new instructions and noticed what appears to be an error. You state, "Drag and drop "xAmbiencePro_v1.00_Core.zip" to Resources → Plugins," I believe that you mean dragged the contents of that file into Plugins. I suspect that dragging the zip file in there would do nothing.

R2 season probelm

R2 set seasons to winter globally after loading CYTZ and doesn't swap it back when switching location KSAN. I tried remove x-ambience temporary but it change anything. Also switching season on or off doesn't change them either. I'm stuck with winter texture everywhere. Does anyone know how to fix to default?
