Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with the JustFlight Hawk T.1. I am running X-Plane 11 on a Mac M1 with Tahoe 26.2 and everything is running smoothly apart from the T.1 which I purchased two days ago. The aircraft loads ok, but the options panel is absent. It will start with 'quick-start' but cannot be manually started from the cockpit. Internally the joystick is animated, but not the throttle nor half the switches. Externally the control surfaces are static although the aircraft responds to joystick input. The wheels won't retract either with key, joystick nor cockpit command. It appears that this is a minor problem, the programme isn't crashing and there are no great error messages appearing apart from a 'minor problem' to do with VR which I don't use. Any help would be grateful appreciated!

PS I have raised a ticket with JustFlight which they have acknowledged but no word since.

Hawk/T45 mod with working tail hook

Hi guys, first a big thankyou to Just flight for a fantastic aircraft. It's difficult to go back to older planes after experiencing the beauty and depth of this model.

Thanks also to the livery makers, in this case RCMARPLE who's T45 Navy skin I used here. Tonto's USMC skin's are equally good.

For the hook, I took it from the xp10 T45 here; after opening and saving in xp10 demo plane maker.

It doesn't work properly in xp11, but I was able to take the 2 tail hook files from objects, and copy them into the Just Flight Hawk objects file.

Then go to xp11 Plane maker, Standard, misc objects, click Add, find the Tailhook file, and then use these figures to put it in the right place. Then save and enjoy. here's some pics of me successfully landing on the carrier.

Well, is flying in XP12. Only need to get the AC warning lights to extinguish as well as the GEN lights and get the Artificial Horizons to work. The reset buttons don’t function either.

But it’s flyable.

Will there be an Xplane 12 version/update in future?

TACAN Question

Hi all,

Got a little problem with the TACAN in the Hawk. When I tune to a TACAN, for example 27x for LOO, I get the range indicator working but the green directional arrow doesn't spin. Whereas if i tune to a regular VOR/DME such as POL, the arrow spins as I would expect. Is this a problem to do with something I'm doing or TACANs in general?

I'm running the hawk T1 from Just flight and have most of the operations now mapped to buttons or switches on my HOTAS. What I wanted to know is how can I map the LP operation to a switch or button instead of having to crab and move with my mouse !

Same question for the Antiskid operation.

I recently purchased the Hawk and according to the manual, there is a panel selector to select different options to setup the airplane, but the manual doesn't state how to access the panel selector.

So, how do I access the panel selector?

SASL3 error and no menu

Hi, I'm on Steam and just updated to version 1.9 via the Skunkcrafts updater and I am getting the error message -

Error: [LUA]: "module" Could NOT load the Annun1 component

in the log is the following:

[SASL3_TBIENT ERROR]: [LUA]: "module" Could NOT load the Annun1 component

The plane is loading but the pop out menu is absent.

Hi JustFlight, I recently bought the Hawk, and today I finally had a chance to try it out, however, the gears won't retract and the flying surfaces doesn't move, please see the attached log.txt....?

It does fly and it is controllable, even the flaps, so I don't understand...?

Is there a way to force the sim to promt the product key, so that we can rule thát out....?

Differences between T1 and T1A

Greetings all,

When I select T1 or the T1A the Aircraft is meant to show differences between the two.

I cannot see any differences at all. Looking at the external view than selection doesn’t change anything. Is that meant to be that way?

Question about sounds

Hey guys,

I have no change in sound when sitting in the cockpit with canopy open versus closed. One would expect the louder outside sounds when it’s open. Do I have something going on on my end or is this just not implemented into the sound system?

Does the ILS panel work? I can only set the frequency decimal 0 or decimal 5. Eg, 109.0 or 109.5. No in between digits.

Cold Start issue.

Greetings all, when I first load the aircraft, I have no problems completing a Cold and dark Startup but when I shut down back to cold and dark and later trying to complete the startup again the aircraft will not spool up. Startup procedures are followed.

Any ideas on this?

Is it possible to configure the Hawk to use a VOR or NDB?

On the ILS panel, bottom right. I program in the VOR Freq, but can't select VOR. Just toggles between ILS and Off.

Any Plans for the T-45 US Navy Variant?

The T1/A is the same basic airframe as the T-45, although the T-45 has much beefier landing gear and a tail hook. It's likely that there are significant cockpit differences too.

That said, is it reasonable to hope that at some point the T-45 variant might be offered? This would be an ideal bird to "go to the boat" with. I have to admit I'm a zoomie, but when it comes to flying out to the Nimitz, I'm one with the squids.
