Just purchased this aircraft & took it for a test run.

I'm able to click and highlight the softkeys (PATHWAY, SYN TERR, HRZN HDG, APTSIGNS), but nothing changes on the display.

Working fine in the default aircraft.

Do these work?

Has something recently broken.

I do have the RealSimGear G1000 real world suite but the MFD does not display on the "virtual" MFD on the computer screen so I don't think this is an interaction with the RealSimGear hardware.

Is it possible to display all radio frequencies in DA 62?
I'm switching from 124.50 to 124.75, but if I want 124.625, it's not possible.
I'm using Octavi IFR and I ran 8.33 Mghtz.exe

I have a problem with the descent management with vnv. It doesn't connect. No doubt I have to use it wrong. The manual didn't bring me anything. Does it excite a detailed dictation or I could get out of it.

When I flick the switch the lever moves momentarily to the ON position but then settles as per image.

But I have an 11, which I'd actually never used properly because the old PC forced me to run it at low graphics settings.

So I came across this offer on the Diamond DA-62... and I bought it. I don't have any high expectations, and for now I'm sticking with X-Plane 11...

But this beautiful aircraft, during night flying, has this problem with the cockpit backlighting... as you can see in the photo, the two knobs are at their maximum travel... while

the two displays are dimly lit. The HDR setting is at maximum, while all the controls are clearly visible.

In my research, the PFD display, from which the Menu button should be used for control, is missing the settings configuration submenu. Only those two knobs are there.

The aircraft version is DA 62 V2.4r. Since it was just downloaded, it should be the latest... I'm wondering if this problem has been resolved, or if there's anything I can do.

II am adding the DA62 to my cockpit via SPAD.neXt. There are two datarefs I can't find in the tool (or in the cockpit).

Is there a switch for no smoaking and/or seat belts?

When I move the parking brake, the dataref doesn't show in the DataRefTool Command search. Can you provide the commands?

I actually have all Aerobask models, but since the last two Xplane updates, I can no longer get the DA62 to run. Every time I start the DA 62, I get a Vulcan error and the sim crashes. All the others run without any problems. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Unfortunately, reinstalling the software did not help.

Until a few months ago the DA62 was working fine, but lately every airport I'm flying to/from has the DA62 bouncing around like crazy when taxing and on take-off/landing

I do have the latest version, and I checked the controller settings. For the rest, nothing changed on the pc and I didn't install any new add-ons.

Anyone having this problem? Is it a DA62 issue, or something to do with a new version of X-plane?

2. Removed the current DA-62 Aircraft folder and downloaded from X-Plane store the 12.2r1 DA-64 again and re-installed into X-plane 12.3.0 with or without 3rd party plugins installed. Could not activate the aircraft after install unless I loaded another working plane first and switched to the newly installed DA-62 by loading it as the second flight configuration plane. I seem to remember that when I reloaded the aircraft to activate the license X-Plane crashed and I had to do the plane switch-a-roo in order to get the newly installed DA-62 to load up and initialize in X=Plane.12.3.0 so the activation was successful. Bummer.

3. I used the X-plane 12.2x X-plane crash detector which kicks up at program startup and set scenery, graphics, and such to keep X-Plane from loading the other 3rd party stuff and 3rd party sceneries and art controls etc. and that did not help correct the problem with DA-62 12.2r1.

I have some other Aerobask products and tried to load them and found that X-plane 12.3.0 will crash when first flight configuration uses the Aerobask E1000-G 12.1r1, and Robin DR401 12.1rc1.
The Aerobask Lancair Legacy RG 12.1r1 will work if selected as first plane in flight configuration when starting X-plane 12.3.0.


Not sure it is worth much but here is the end snippet of the X-Plane 12.3.0 Log.txt file showing the DA-62 Info that module loaded etc and then just a crash after showing "will do region prep" on the X-plane start flight progress screen. This particular log snippet result is when all the same 3rd party X-plane plug-ins which were active in X-Plane 12.2.x are active when using X-Plane release 12.3.x. it does not matter if all 3rd party plug-ins are removed. X-Plane 12.3.0 crashes with DA-62 r12.2r1 if the 3rd party plug-ins are loaded/enabled or if they are not.

So again, I am grounded and hoping a plane software mechanic :) for the Aerobask DA-62 12.2r1 can review the above info and see if they can reproduce this issue with the recent released version of X-plane 12.3.0.
This issue with my favorite and well loved Aerobask DA-62 12.2r1 only started after steam upgraded in-place my X-plane version to 12.3.0 and all other resources in X-Plane (plug-ins, sceneries etc) remained the same. Only the X-plane release was changed.

Fresh Win10 install - Clean X-Plane 12 install, latest DA-62 from .org store + Skunkcrafts updater.

Am seeing the engine RPM and Oil Pressure stutter on both engines through all stages of flight.

After updating to Windows 11, I reinstalled XLPane12 and the flight simulator. Activation displays the error: “Activation error: Failure when receiving data from the peer.” What could be causing this? Please help me.

for a strange reason, I can't re-activate my DA 62 ... whatever I try, all I get is an error (see screenshot). The F.A.Q here mentions in section 7 to use the contact form on the Aerobask web page, which I did, but this gives me an "oops! Error!" message as well.

I have verified my networking, tried deleting the *.key files, deleting the plugins folder of DA 62, deleting the entire DA 62 folder. I tried to grab it keys/plugins/aircraft from a proven to work backup, reinstall plugins using the updater, reinstall aircraft from the original archive. None of them works.

Kind of frustrating to be honest.

Any help is appreciated.
