Hi all, I purchased AeroSphere's PA44-180 Piper Seminole v4 to use with X-Plane 11, but by default it loads the steam gauges variant. Can someone please explain what I should do to get the G1000 variant to load instead? I would think that maybe the two variants would show up when I choose my aircraft, but there's only one Seminole available, and it only has steam gauges. When I select Customize, it gives me the option to change the color of the aircraft as well as Weight,Balance,Fuel and Failures, but I don't see an option to change it to the G1000 variant. I've included screen shots of the options on X-Plane as well as the file directory. I feel like I'm missing something really basic. Thanks in advance for your help!

Here are the files to add the rain to the Seminole - simply unzip and replace the .png and .obj under the "objects" folder and these new .acf files under the main aircraft folder...

I added some quick changes to the Seminole .acf so it will be better suited for XP12

The reason I am not doing a Seminole update to xp12 "officially" is because a from-the-ground-up XP12 version would be done and be a new product all together - like the Warrior and the Cherokee 180, as those were more or less from the "ground up" such as the 3d modeling...

This way, you can at least use the Seminole in XP12 if you want

	Hello,

Is there any way to change the value of the prop pitch control in plane maker? I would like to make it more linear. High RPM is fine, however as you gradually increase pitch (decrease RPM) there is a huge dead spot where pitch doesn't change at all. If you keep increasing pitch, the lever becomes a light switch and will almost kill the engine. Any suggestions would be great!

I do enjoy flying the plane, it's the quickest PA44 I've ever flown. Maybe a little too quick! Feels like a Baron. LOL

	Why is this:

The creeping blackness only happens with your aircraft (your Cherokee six is the same) otherwise I would suspect my hardware.

What is it about your textures that look so horrible on my system no matter what my settings are?

With the Cherokee Six, I was able to get rid of it by setting everything to 'low' but as no other aircraft suffer I reset everything to max as I don't experience ANY problems with other aircraft and I am happy to simply delete the Cherokee Six...

Your Seminole however, is such a perfect flier, I feel this is worth looking into.

	Hi,

I've used your PA44-180 at home to train flight navigation procedures for my MEP IR rating back in 2020. So far I like it, but one major thing that I encountered is the missing dedicated DME indication/tuning device.

The GNS530 has the option to indicate a DME distance, but only from the active NAV frequency. The GNS430 doesn't have this option. So you can't have an ILS tuned into NAV1 (GNS530) and use a separate DME Station for distance measuring if the ILS has no co-located DME.

I would really love to see this feature being implemented, because then I can properly fly IFR on the sim.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

	Regards,

	Sven.

If the right engine is failed then, correctly, only the right vacuum pump becomes U/S and the left (live engine) vacuum pump supplies vacuum.

I have a few observations after a short flight:
Battery off but ALT/GEN lights and gyro noise ON, even from C&D start.
Dome light is always ON, but no dome light switch.
Panel lit textures need tidying up, colour is OK, but it doesn't follow how panel lighting bulbs would shine around the panel and instruments.
Couldn't operate L or R MAGS after flight, but they were operable before flight.
Tail Strobe switch should perhaps read beacon.
Starter sound is unrealistic.
Not sure a PA-44 would have altitude preselect?
And I'd prefer to see at least a pilot in the aircraft, or an option for one.
I'll take it back up tomorrow for a fuller flight.
Thanks,

The latest update of xp11 has a built in version of the Annunciator on the screen which overlaps the current Seminole version. to fix this open the plane in planemaker and go: panel 3d under Standard. in the menu on the right find "CAS" and delete it and save the file.

There may also be a glossy panel to fix this, open the objects folder under the aircraft and delete "PiperSeminole_panelback_NML.png

Will be issuing an update shortly.

	Thanks

So my first time with the new PA44 with the G1000. The right G1000 was badly flickering at about two refreshes per second, sometimes when popped up also. Second flight it was fine for about ten minutes, then problem recurred. Cycling the avionics Master did not resolve the problem.

Hi folks, I would be grateful if somebody could answer this question. Is the CAS box in the G1000 suppose to flash when the autopilot is engaged or am I making a mistake ?

I cannot seem to make this plane fly instrument approaches. I was wondering if it is possible to do so.

Hello. I just purchased the Piper Seminole v3 from the .Org store and dropped the unzipped "PiperSeminole" folder into the Aircraft/Laminar Research folder of X-Plane 10 and 11. The airplane does not show up when I run X-Plane (happens in 10 and 11). I looked in the aircraft folder and noticed there is no "airfoils" folder within. Should there be one, and if so, is that my problem? Thanks,

	Hi guys!

Anyone else hearing cracking sounds when the engines roar up? I got this on speakers, headphones. Don't have that problem in any other plane or application on my PC.

	Thanks for your help!
