Hi All

I’ve had a couple of emails about our G5 and changing some settings vs the X-Plane 11 G5. Some were deemed as missing in the XP12 version vs the XP11. What we actually did was use the opportunity to build the proper settings menu seen on the real world G5’s into our new XP12 version, thus moving those options to the correct place.

To access this, assuming your G5 PFD is powered on, press and hold the power button until the countdown appears, then let go (don’t keep holding it, the message is a little confusing!). Once the unit is powered off, press and hold the power button until the configuration menu appears. Use the knob to dial through and select options. You’ll find the ability to change the v-speeds shown on the tape, the units - including hpa/inhg - and many more. You’ll also find the ability to switch between ground pointer and sky pointer. When you’re done, roll to the option to reboot and your changes will be saved.

Now we’ve added this menu, as found in the real-world G5, we will continue to add features as and when we can - and as requested!

	Thanks

	Rich

Are there any plans to integrate the TDS GTNXi (preferably the 750) in the P28 Arrow?
The TDS GTNXi is expected to be released very soon. One of the major advantages is that the navdatabase and charts of the GTN will be updatable via Navigraph.
Another major advantage is that it is using Garmin's simulator of the GTN.

I understand that it should work via its 2D popup anyhow, but integrated in the panel would of course be much better.

First of all, the Aspen modeled in this aircraft is really really good. We have one in our Arrow II and this one modeled here is incredibly close to the real thing.

This is simply a feature request, not a complaint in any way. And, honestly, it probably wouldn't be used much on an Arrow III since the POH speeds are listed in knots. But...

In our Arrow, the POH has everything listed in MPH (it is a 1969). The Aspen has a menu option to set the speeds on the PFD to MPH or knots. Would something like this be possible?

Oh, before I forget - one other thing - the Davtron timer and the transponder timer seem to be linked - when I was doing some hold practice last night, I was using the Davtron for flight time and I was going to use the transponder timer to time my hold legs. But when I reset the transponder timer, the Davtron timer went to zero. Super low priority, but just something I thought I'd raise since I saw it.

Amazing replication of the Arrow, guys. Our real one is down for a couple of mx issues, so I have been using the virtual one in VR more over the past few days. Super job with the systems and the modeling! Thanks again.

	Dear developper,

I purchased the VFlyte Arrow III G5/E1000 today. I noticed that the VFlyte manual, but also confirmed by assigning the alt static air command from XPlane keyboard menu that you wrongly assigned that lever as being an alternate static source. In the real airplane, this is the alternate air, being a non filtered source of air in case the filter would be clogged by ice during icing condition or hail.

I guess that this lever has no real function in the sim? Normally during the engine checks on the ground, using the alternate air should decrease the manifold pressure and the RPM (the air is coming from the heated engine compartment, hence less dense air, therefore lower RPM).

Is it possible to update this for the next patch?

	Thanks.

I was trying to duplicate the problem a user was having, and discovered that I have numerous issues that render the Arrow almost unflyable. My HC Alpha is not acting correctly...roll seems to be slow to go back to level, and pitch, full forward to descend, doesn't seem to work at all, as it keeps pitching up. The C150 flies fine! I suppose I could re-download the Arrow and see if that fixes things.

I have this installed RealityXP with RealSimGear GTN650, GNS430 and the G500 autopilot. It works great except for the fact that there’s no output from the alternator and the battery goes <9v in 10minutes turning off the avionics. I have reinstalled everything at least twice and as a last resort installed everything again on a brand new computer and it still doesn’t work.

It’s infuriating as this would be a perfect aircraft if I could just sort out this issue.

Hello, I'm using the EFD1000 with the GTN650. If I program a flight into the GTN the first waypoint will show up on the EFD1000 however the waypoints do not get updated along the track. As an example, a flight plan of KSNA-ELMOO-VNY-KVNY, the EFD will show the first waypoint (ELMOO) but after crossing ELMOO it does not update to the next waypoint (VNY). The GTN updates just fine. Both the degrees to the waypoint and the waypoint name do not update but the distance to the waypoint updates/works just fine. I have updated the software to the latest version.
