	As the title says, the UH-60 is working in X-Plane 12 for those who care.

	Hi all. I'm on macOs and everything else works great, except the menu tab is nowhere to be seen. Idk if this is a Mac issue (because the only other person on this forum who has posted about this issue was on a Mac), but it really ruins my realism and immersion from the aircraft. I don't see why it wouldn't be able to run on macOS. if anybody could help me so I can access this menu or so that it could appear, it would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

	I bought this the other night, and overall, I think it's great! The available reviews don't do it justice. I'm logging a lot of hours in it and I love flying it. I'm flying it in VR in X-Plane v11.52.
</p>

<p>
	I've only noticed only one issue, that being that if you start cold and dark on the ramp and follow the start-up procedures in the manual, the engines do not start. An update to fix that would elevate it to greatness. I hope that development continues on with the aircraft, because it's already one of my favorites, to the point that I now want to buy the rest of the BFDG offerings the next time that I raid the Org Store. I especially have my eye on the AT-27 that the Brazilian Air Force is using in their flight simulations, but all of it interests me.
</p>

<p>
	Other than that issue, I love this helicopter and would recommend it to anyone who wants to fly a Blackhawk/Sea Hawk/Pave Hawk. <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>

	Engaging HDG and ALT do not activate the autopilot. According to the POH the AP Master is in the 'lower console, 9b'. There is no such illustration or listing. There is an AP switch which is recognized as a control (pointer changes to hand) but it's inoperative. NOE flying via the TERR button? Where is that? Another user asked these same questions on this forum three years ago, and no one ever answered. I don't expect any answers either. Even if this aircraft works in XP12 it's clearly unsupported now, by both its dev and its users. Buyer beware, just posting this for anyone considering a purchase.

	Hi.
</p>

<p>
	I've been really enjoying the Blackhawk of late, but I have a bit of an issue. I fly in VR, and the GPS unit is very far and very small from my viewpoint. And half the knobs don't work in VR anyway. So, using it is kinda irritating. I set up my flight plan in 2D and then ignore it from there.
</p>

<p>
	There's a DME display on the HSI. But when I use the GPS, the DME display stays blank.
</p>

<p>
	I was wondering if I am missing something that would allow the GPS-calculated DME to display on the HSI so I could actually read it.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks.

<p>
	The purchasing page for this model states, "<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#000000;font-size:16px;">Improved UH-60L and UH-60M utility variants have also been developed. Modified versions have also been developed for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard."</span>
</p>

<p>
	Can anyone help me understand how the UH-60M variant performs differently than the other models in this package?  From what I understand, the UH-60M variant uses a fly-by-wire system.  Is fly-by-wire modeled? If not, what makes the UH-60M variant unique?  Without purchasing the model, I have no way to look in the manual in order to understand the differences between the variants.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you!

	Hi, I recently downloaded the Sikorsky UH60 Blackhawk V2 and all seems to be working well with the exception of access to the menu tab to access the 'Hawk pack'.

	I understand that the menu tab should be available on the lower left corner of the screen during flight, but I don't see it anywhere on my screen at all. I would like to access the additional features that the menu tab gives access to ( Layouts, cargo etc). As a newbie to Plane I will apologise in advance if this is a very obvious fix!

<p>
	This topic is being written to discuss the VR experience with the BFDG UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. I have flown this aircraft for about 800 hours since purchase and about 500 under VR. The two VR I own and have tested are the HP Windows Mixed Reality headset and the Vive Pro headset.
</p>

<p>
	Let's start by saying that if you want a true sense of how a Blackhawk truly feels while flying....go under a VR headset. The real 3D experience will provide you with all the helicopter experiences you are looking for, In-Ground Effect, Out-Of-Ground Effect, transitioning to flight and to hover, and more. You will never use the 2D experience again. However here's the pitfalls:
</p>

<p>
	1: Cockpit Annunciator: The dashboard is too dark, the gauges are two small and hard to read. The gauges lighting needs to be fixed. I recommend BFDG work on fixing that
</p>

<p>
	2:  There is no glide slope. Please add.
</p>

<p>
	3. I do like the UH-60 older annunciator panel with the analog stack, but would love to see a newer "Glass Cockpit" version
</p>

<p>
	4. HP Mixed Reality headset - Although the resolution of this headset is lower than the Vive Pro headset, you actually get better clarity than the Vive Pro. Not sure if this is a BFDG issue, but clearly something X-Plane 11 developers should work on. With that said, the HP Mixed Reality headset doesn't require base stations, so you do get a more 'jittery' feel when flying. The Vive Pro is more 'fluid'. But overall great experience and fun to fly.
</p>

<p>
	5. Vive Pro headset - Resolution is better but harder to see through due to the "screen door" effect. This also makes the program feel darker. This is also not a BFDG issue, but X-Plane 11 development issue (may be the graphics engine). Looking around is much smoother with the Vive Pro because of the base stations (I recommend using 2 base stations).
</p>

<p>
	6. HOTAS Joystick and Throttle: Must have and will give you a true cyclic and collective fee in VR mode.
</p>

<p>
	Last, I have to admit I can no longer fly this aircraft 2D using a monitor because the experience using a VR headset is so realistic. If BFDG would work a bit more on this aircraft in terms of development it finalize a true flying experience. Overall I highly recommend purchasing the BFDG UH-60 Blackhawk. Fun to fly.

	I have the a Thrustmaster  T.Flight Hotas 4 Joy Stick with attached Throttle. (Note the Throttle is configured to be the collective)  When flying the helicopter and making an approach for landing I reduce the collective and begin to push the cyclic stick forward, but do not have enough forward movement of the Cyclic to drop the nose to in order to land. So i end up setting up for auto-rotation. This is the only way I can land the craft. Note my granddaughter who is a Blackhawk pilot stationed  at Wheeler AAF base was visiting me and  tried to land, she had the same problem. The Hotas 4 Joystick runs out of forward movement. this Joystick is of good quality and has a good reputation. FYI I am running X-Plane 11.3x
