Help please: X-Plane 11 keeps saying

"Error loading the scenery package: Custom Scenery/Global Airports/

and doesn't let me load the winter textures. I've rearranged my scenery.ini file multiple times and redownloaded 2 times but nothing works. Perhaps XP changed the code again?

What's the deal? Thanks.

It's probably great, but because it is an .exe file. I can't open or run it. It's useless unless I buy a Windows emulator.

Downloaded the .exe, moved it to the custom scenery folder, ran as admin, the folders extracted to the custom scenery folder, started and stopped x-plane, checked the .ini - files were in correct order.  Restarted x-plane in Lake Tahoe (January), no snow anywhere on the ground or in the mountains

Do not use for X-plane 11! It will break your sim!

Thanks for the Add-on, would've never bought X-plane if I knew they were to lazy to make their own texture!!!!

Thank you for making this available, this is the very first winter add-on than I've been able to get to work in X-plane 11, by following your install instructions exactly.

Initially per the instructions I dropped the downloaded extracted folder into the Custom Scenery folder, but that did not work solely by itself.

I then realized I had to extract the four individual folders from that initial folder and add those individually into the Custom Scenery folder, then I opened the scenery.ini file and edited it to look exactly like your example here,  then it all worked,  this will make flying in the northern latitudes more fun this winter. Thank you

Edit this AM,  With a hot cup of coffee and an adventurous soul I jumped into the Cessna and decided to fly over to Wenatchee for lunch, even though our northwest weather was starting to lay down some snow up in the Cascades. It is still green on the ground at KSEA SeaTac when I left but as I got closer to the mountains things started to change just like they do in real life around here. Seldom get snow around Seattle but usually do in the mountains so this scenery addon is spot on for January. Pretty cool, and really feels like the real thing. Glad I brought my thermos with me, LOL,,,,  Thanks again for this superb winter addon!!

Help, It works on some airports but in other not. For example it works on EPWR but not on EPWA. Could it be because of orthos? On EPWR i don't have any orthos and it works there, but on EPWA i have orthos and it doesn't work there  Please help!

Great plugin, very nice for flying in Canada in winter.

Would be nicer if it could be turned off by latitude, or location.

Vancouver or Victoria Canada are not snow covered in February. (well ok, they are this year, but not normally 😉

Flying from snowy Calgary (good) to snowy Las Vegas (not so good).

Wow, works great, Winter in XP11, without a performance hit, for free and easy to install, that's insanely good. Thank you!

(also, any chance to also "snowify" the green parts around some of the default city buildings? That's pretty much the only thing that stands out. )

Oh dude! This addon is awesome! I did a flight from Bergen to LPPT earlier. When taking off from Bergen the scenery looks so cool with this whole winter wonder land. Great addon and thank your making it!

This is very good! Easy to install and looks great! 

SO I am confused, this doesn't work outside of the US? The pictures seem great, but why limited to US?

its ok but sadly no snow outside of the US

edit: sorry for my stupidity i flew in Germany and i forgot there is no snowfall in Germany but could you fix the snow in deserts? it looks awkward in Las Vegas. Great addition to flying in eastern erurope!!!!

I've spent a good hour installing it, and to now I really enjoy it! Only problem is that there's a lot of "pufs" of default scenery around the snow textures. Any way to fix this?

So I am a little long in the tooth but after I figured out that the other files could be found at the bottom of the page and got everything installed and edited the ini file fall winter and spring look fantastic compared to virgin X-Plane scenery and not much if any of a frame rate hit. Thank you so much for this add on!!
