Dear Customers and Prospects,

Today, FTS will release another upgrade to our popular analogue panels and moving map for X-Plane.

We have been listening to your suggestions. You will see many of those included in this new release. If you ordered our products within the last 12 months, then the upgrade is absolutely free! If you own a license to our software and you have not all ready received an email with upgrade instructions, then check back tomorrow.

We are also pleased to announce a complete reorganization on how our panels are packaged. Instead of selling individual panels, we now sell the panels in packs depending on the aircraft manufacturer. For the same price that you paid for one panel, you now receive MANY of them. For example, the Piper aircraft are packaged together, the Cessna single and twin aircraft are packaged together, and all the Turbo Prop aircraft are packaged together.

If you don’t all ready own SimAVIO or AvSimMap, now is the perfect time to do so. A list of new features include:

• Added digital clock to some panels
• Option to hide bezel and buttons on AvSimMap
• Added realistic annunciator lights specific to each aircraft panel
• Added backlit buttons on all avionics, including radios, autopilot, and AvSimMap
• Added cockpit lighting and gauge lights for night flying
• Update to navigation database to current FAA cycle
• Added private airports and some public airports with soft runways
• Enhancements on Flight Mode Annunciator
• Enhancements to Altitude and V-speed pre-selector
• Enlarged digits on King Air engine gauges to make them more readable
• Click and drag your mouse either clockwise or counterclockwise to twist knobs on the gauges or instruments
• Added Cabin pressure gauges to pressurized aircraft

You may be wondering: Where the heck is the FTS430 and FTS1000! Please be patient. We are still working on it. The FTS1000 (Garmin G1000 simulator) will be the first to be released. This is because we have chosen to release it first without the Flight Management System (FMS), in order to get it out sooner. The FMS will come later, and the upgrade will be free.
