In order to promote this amazing application (XAdventures) , I am starting a contest on the landing missions freshly released.

The goal of the contest is very simple: Try to get the highest score possible

Winners will get a plane of their choice from the .org store.

Rules

• Use any of these missions :
  • for PC: http://forums.x-plan...s&showfile=9821
  • For Mac: http://forums.x-plan...s&showfile=9976
• Post a screenshot of your score here. 1 per person.
• The score can be from any mission (I assume it will be easier to get a high score on mission #1)
• 4 winners
  • Top 2 scores + 2 random winners
• No cheating
• Contest ends March 7th 2010

Note that there will be 2 random winners. This way anybody can post a score, even if it's not the highest you see.

19725 in the xpfw md-82, which is as close to a caravelle as I have. Not too shabby considering my rudder controls are very sloppy on my joystick.

The title says airliner. I will most probably get a scorching from this, but I am better at landing the Piper PA-46 than anything else. And then its the Falcon 7x which is a bizjet, not necessarily a airliner. Is there room for reason?

The mission is set up with hard-coded approach & touchdown speeds so you'd need something that uses 145-150 kts on approach.

Try a really heavily loaded PA-46!

Seriously, this mission plugin looks very capable. Always fun with some purpose added to your flying.
