X-Plane And Project Magenta And Other Fsuipc Apps XPUIPC Emulation of a fsuipc interface for X-Plane

It is true that if XPUIPC can emulate the WideFS protocol (which, to my knowledge, is proprietary), then it could be useful on a Mac.

Torston,
version 1.1.1 is working fine, the previous version could not be loaded indeed.
I am very, very happy with your program. my "OpenCockpits" based flight deck with SIOC is comming alive !!!!
The standby gauges of FreeFD are working perfect. even the radio baro settings !!!
I am looking forward for new releases.
I have changed from FS2004 to X-Plane and changed all my fsuipc offset's in SIOC to X-plane datarefs.
The progress goes very well.
Is there a possibility to change your program in such a way that you create a text-file
where the program reads the conversions ? Just like the numbers and datarefs in uipcxdatos.txt
e.g.
fsuipc Factor Dataref
---- ------ ------
07CC 1000 x737/systems/afds/HDG_magnhdg
$07C8 1 x737/systems/afds/HDG
another option is a third colon with the numbers in uipcdatos.txt
Then we have an all-in one program........
Ofcourse all offsets should be placed on the forum to share information.
I do think that we then have the possibility to contribute your great work.
it is just an idea.

Hi Hoogtevrees,
this is possible...but often it is not possible to link an offset direct to a X-Plane dataref and just putting a factor on it. Very often I have to combine several datarefs together to get it compatible to fsuipc...
Your idea is really good I will come back on it later...
At the moment I am working hard to add more offsets to get it complete....
BTW: The dataref "x737/systems/afds/HDG_magnhdg" how can I access it. Is it a dataref of the x737 project of Benedickt Stratmann ??

Thanks for your reply Torsten,
Yes, the X737 are the offsets for the X737 of Benedikt
The MCP if working very well incl. the EFIS for that plane.
Only thing for that EFIS, it is the old version, hopefully they will upgrade it soon.
Thanks.

Torsten,
Is there any plans to change the Altitude offset?
I am using a panel made by someone else and can not change any of in programming.
It looks like they are only using the highpart.
Thanks
Dave

CODE
Offset 570 is Altitude, in metres and fractional metres Lowpart 4 Byte long, Offset 574 is Altitude, in metres and fractional metres highpart and 4 byte long.
Due to an error please read Altitude from 570 with 8 byte...
