Hi Y'all,
If you bought x-plane for the iphone and have seen it crash on startup, the first thing you should know is: rebooting your iphone or ipod touch will almost certainly fix the problem -- we've only had one user for whom that didn't correct the crash.
But...Austin and I are trying to learn more to see if we can fix this problem in our code (or at least understand it better). But we never see this on OUR devices. :-(
So if you've had an iphone crash, please email me the crash log (bsupnik at xsquawkbox dot net) for analysis. Here's how you get the log:
1. Sync your iphone with itunes.
2. Crash logs will be stored in:
For Mac Users:
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<iPhone name>
For Windows Users:
Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<iPhone name>
We could use a crash log, system log, anything you can find as long as you've had a recent crash.
Thanks!!
Ben
