Incomplete framebuffer "Be advised"...

Hi Y'all,
I have FINALLY been able to see this bug for myself (this is attempt number four to reproduce in the lab). I think I know what's going on.
If you have this bug I need you to:
- update to 921rc2 - it's the best version to have right now!
- delete any preferences in output/preferences (or just move them to the desktop and put them back when done).
- start the sim
- when it says "incomplete framebuffer" click okay and the sim will quit.
- email me all three of these files:
Log.txt
MemoryDump.txt
IF the sim crashes and there is a crash_log.txt send me that too.
I need to see all 3. Your log.txt should have a copy of the error message at the bottom of the file!!
Do not restart the sim until you have sent the file, as these files are rewritten each time the sim launches.

Having the same issues as everyone else. Using a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with newest drivers available. Was using older drivers and had the same problem. I have upgraded to 9.21rc2 and deleted all preferences. Card is currently set to "Use application preferences" on all settings possible. I have not tried the --no_vbos or --no_fbos commands but may try to see what happens. I am attaching my log.txt and memorydump files from the latest crash. I did not see a crash_log file.

Hi Mike,
Please try this:
1. temporarily remove the global scenery and custom scenery folders.
2 Start up. Still get the error?
3. Change airports to PHNL (honolulu) and quit
4. put the global and custom scenery folders BACK in the x-plane folder.
5. restart
Now, can you fly at Honolulu?

Earlier today I tried to run the program with the --no_vbos added to the command. I was able to get in to the sim for the first time using this. Once in it seemed to function fine with no crashes.
This evening I tried doing as you said and taking out the two scenery folders. Loaded up OK with folders removed. Changed to Honolulu airport and closed out. Replaced scenery folders and tried to load as normal. Loaded up OK at the Honolulu airport. Only problem is that I have no scenery loaded for this airport. I did not load whole world during install and may not have this area installed but it did load the program which I could not even do before. However, when I tried to change to an airport that I know I have scenery installed for I get a windows popup "X-plane has encountered an unexpected error" and a crash. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have the same problem since I updated my X-plane to RC2 (or to the last Nvidia drivers ? 177.13). The sim crash when I open some planes.
For exemple, here the 177RG :

Hitekk - your error is NOT related to the ATI errors that people have been posted. However, it may still be a real problem that needs addressing.
Can you boil this down to the minimum reproduction steps for me? This appears to be based on some combination of reloading airplanes and flying...can it be reproduced with only stock airplanes (if not, please send me a link to an airplane that causes this). Can you get this without flying?
