I emailed to the distribution list latest Enhanced Version 5.55 of G2xpl.
It has been extensively tested particularly on big sceneries. It includes fixes for several serious bugs. I also added counter of the amount of downloaded data and more accurate download progress bar.
Please let me know if you still come across any errors or problems. Do not forget to include your g2xpl.ini.
If you have any questions please first take a look into following readme-FAQ

Some users with multicore machines have reported crashes during DDS texture creation process.
Since DDS texture conversion requires fairly big amount of RAM and with each thread allocating its own memory the virtual memory might easily reach computer's limit. The remedy is to limit the number of concurrent threads by setting up:
DDS_conversion_threads_no=4

MORE THINGS TO DO:
- scenery conversion within X km radius only (only for enhanced version)
- add alpha channel for smooth transition between land and water textures
- solve problem with duplicate triangles in DSF mesh (spotted by Marginal)
- internet module: implement algorithm for slow connections
- synchronization of scenery reload on networked computers
- scan missing DDS from the area which is being reloaded by X-Plane (get rid of X-Plane scenery reload errors once for all)
- NVTT most recent versions (latest version of NVTT detects mismatch between CUDA runtime and driver)
- dsftool in dll (with process priority) instead of exe, conversion entirely in RAM
- when g2xpl window shut down still scenery can be partially reloaded (optional)
- stealth mode -batch points
- assembling jpg from cached higher LOD jpg's instead of downloading
- cached jpg textures database ?
PLUGIN:
- add more input parameters into setting's window in g2xpl plugin (maybe some volunteers willing to help with it?)
