The converted scenery packages require X-Plane 8.60 or later due to use of draped polygons.

Features:
- Converts FS2002, FS9 and FSX add-on scenery packages.
- Converts FS9 photoscenery.
- Airports are converted to 850 apt-dat format.
- Sets up Wine/Darwine/CrossOver environment on Linux & Intel Macs so that you can run MSFS scenery installer programs.

You'll need OverlayEditor version 1.70 or later and WED (not TaxiDraw) if you want to edit the converted packages.

There's bound to be some bugs - please let me know about them.
If you'd like me to look at a problem then please first ensure that you're using the latest version and provide the following information:
- a link to where I can download the MSFS package.
- a description of what happened and how that differs from what you expected. ("It doesn't work" is not a helpful description). Screenshots can be helpful here.
- attach (don't paste) the file X-Plane/Custom Scenery/packagename/summary.txt.

I know that the NorAP2004 package still doesn't convert correctly - sorry I don't know how to fix this.

Hi Marginal, will any of these versions work on an Intel mac in terminal/darwine as they are or do we need to wait for a mac version?

aggh, I've ended up in over me depth here, I've just spent the last hour or so trying to get this Darwine heeby geeby to work and after some wrestling it seems to execute the file only to error with the following message

feel free to tell me to stop messing around with things I don't understand and wait for a Mac Intel version to come out but I'm irrationally desperate to give this new all singing all dancing make of fs2xp a go (esp. due to the installer runner, 8.5apt.dat conversions and of course the photoscenery compatibility)

has anyone had a crack at anything that they've got permission to share that they want to stick up in the DM to wet the appetite even more?

I don't know what the problem is, but you can ignore the FreeType message - it's normal on Macs and is not the problem.

When you say this, are you thinking about those little patches that sometimes are palced under MSFS airports or are you going for entire swathes of countryside draped over the Global Scenery mesh?
