Cheers Michael, see pic below to keep you happy for now, will try and upload the plane in a second.
Dont know how to get the black areas in the picture to shade yet but will keep persevering all advice/constructive critisism welcomed.

nice work on the model but i guess the painting would need an update you can always look how i did my paintjob and use some of it like the landinggears wheels and so on. the black parts on the fuselage is easiest to lose by painting a little outside of the borders of the mesh i do that all the time
i dont remember if i followed the default paint layout to 100 % but you can always look in the visual texture regions option
the doors and windows seems to be in the correct location
isnt the colour a little too yellow burnt sienna ot grey would be better i guess

hope you dont think i am too hard on you now i only tries to be honest and that is the best way to get many enemies unfortunately

Thanks for the advice, I will endeavour to improve on this model I only started it last night and am finding new tools all the time. I have been looking for a Nimrod for ages (Used to work at Kinloss) as i have been playing microsofts FS for years, never could find one and never could get my head around building them either.

Honesty is all i ask for.

OK have been working on the Nimbat project again, so thought i would post this pic of the project changes so far, the colour is closer and not so yellow, the wheels have had a touch of photorealism, and with a bit of help i finally managed to get the pane sorted (though still rearranging the dials),

This is still the MR1 that i am playing with whilst i get a feel for the software i am playing with, It will become the MRA4 over time.
