The King Air 350 for X-Plane v8.16 - I got it here

This aircraft was designed and created by TwinPropFlier.

He has done an exceptional job. There are minor details that should not be over-looked, eg, you can place the props to an "idle" setting which will then turn the props on a "feather" feature. The HSI works, you can turn one engine completely off, all knobs work, the sounds are excellent, and the flying characteristics are exemplary. For example when flying I can feel the weight of her. The most challenging part comes when landing!! - A real challenge - and the aircraft performs right on the numbers!

One thing I would like to see are the quarter views which I hope twinpropflier is working on.

Definately a plane not to be ignored - you can easly tell the amount of dedication and hard work gone into the 350. A place in my hangar for sure!

Give it a try, but be prepared to learn how she flies.

PS I must also add the manual is also exceptionally done and thorough!

[Mac OS X-Plane]

I agree, great plane. Strangly, 3D cockpit view makes my fps drop, but its all good in forward view

I agree with everyone above. This was actually the 1st plane I ever downloaded, and was very impressed. I fly it by far more than anything else. Great paint jobs also! [attachmentid=11365] [attachmentid=11366]

The Swiss Air Force paint is certainly a favorite. I do wish it had a true bubble window on the starbord side, but that is small potatoes . . . The Attention to detail is amazing, and the plugin really adds a lot.

What plug in would that be?

If you download the aircraft from the link, you should find a plugins folder inside it.

Since you are apparently flying a Mac version, you need to grab two plugins from there (DynRegNum_mac.xpl and KingAirPlugin_mac.xpl) to
X-Plane 8.xx/Resources/Plugins to make them active.

Thanks for the review! I love the King Air. It has always been one of my favorites. The Army has a version based on the 200 that is called a RC-12.

Thank you. I did not know I needed to do that.

OK, what if I only see one plug in, specificallly, this one: KingAirPlugin_mac.xp

nevermind, I solved my opwn problem. Appparently when updating I overwrote the folder and lost teh plug ins, a redownload of the king air fixed that.

From now on, I will be more careful when updating planes by overwriting files and folders.
