Ok, this made my weekend. My ultimately getaway now available on my iPhone. For those that haven't purchased, installed and gone for your first flight yet on your iPhone or iPod Touch....don't waste time replying to this message, just head on over to the App Store and get it. :-)

I can't wait to see what other planes eventually become available and scenery as well.

DUDE.. you have only seen the START.
We are going to have airliners, helicopters, gliders... this is only the BEGINNING.

Also (and there is no way I should mention this) X-Plane AUTOMOTIVE is SCREAMING fun.. I will be ready to release it, hopefully, within 7 days.

When you see me issue a post about how I am morally opposed (or something) to an automotive version of x-plane with ferraris and corvettes and KRAZY tracks, you will know that we are within about 48 hours of release.

I hope to have it for desktop AND iphone shortly!

Very fun, just downloaded. Although, is anyone experiencing somewhat random crashes? It'll fly for a while, then appear to have scenery-load issues, then crash to the iPhone menu. Anyone? Could it have something to do with how much memory you have used up?

Also, when do you think we'll be able to add our own planes like ringtones?!

I just installed this application on my iPhone and I'm REALLY blown away by how well it runs on an iPhone. I had no idea this phone was capable of handling a sim such as this.

I just started messing with it and its pretty darn cool... Austin knocked that one out of the park.

Flaps, gear, throttle and brakes are onscreen buttons. You fly by tilting the iPhone/Touch, using the things accelerometer.

Just purchased it. WOW amazing job.

Only thing is I could not find it on the App store by searching , only by clicking the direct link from this forum ?

Anyway looking forward to the updates and bug fixes .. worth every cent !

Can you fly from the cockpit view or is it only external and HUD views?
I realise that the screen resolution is rather limited, so cockpit might not be very usefull in any case.
Can you replay your flight?
