This is a hybrid of some the liveries used by the United States' Civil Air Patrol (CAP). Thanks to SafeAviator for letting me know about this. For those familiar with the design, you'll notice there are some differences here, such as the tail fin pattern and the placement of the overwing roundels outside the red stripe. I attempted many versions prior to those included with the attached file, but the model's texture mapping in those areas led to various graphic anomalies that were unacceptable. Hopefully you can appreciate the reasons and not be offended by the alternative
The livery's been designed to complement the additional 3D objects that I've created for the Cirrus (also included), and is of high (2048x2048) resolution (this may impact performance on slower systems)
For anyone who's already downloaded my additional objects files for the Cirrus Jet before, the attached "Extras.obj" file replaces all of your existing ones, and includes a couple of extras you haven't seen before too.
For anyone else, here's what you get:
* Detailed sensors including pitot tubes, multi-purpose sensors and an AOA sensor
* Various antennae mounted beneath the fuselage and above the engine
* Animated flap components linked to the flap datarefs
* Animated elevator components linked to the elevator datarefs
* Fins above and below the fuselage, as well as on either side of the rear fuselage
* 3D modelled fuel caps
* Anchoring rings beneath each wing
* Tail-light housings (with light placement instructions for PlaneMaker included)
* An animated spinning turbine, with thanks to the talent and permission of mid7night
All are based upon the limited range of Cirrus jet photos that I've been able to locate (and I've improvised a little too).
A detailed read-me file is included with all necessary instructions.
Finally, thanks again to Max at dmax.it for his support, his fantastic Cirrus model, and permission to modify his original Photoshop livery templates.
I'm not using this livery for any commercial purpose and no permission is granted for anyone else to do so either.
