This training glider first flew in 1947, 218 have been built since then.
It's aerobatic. Its instrumentation is very basic and the lack of even a compass hints that you aren't expected to fly cross country in them. But it will thermal, both for real and in X-Plane.
This one depicts an ex-RAF example, now operational with a glider museum in Sweden. The instrument panel is generic, though.
Flying is pretty straight forward. When winching keep about 55 kt, dive to get speed for aerobatics (or if you're in a hurry), otherwise fly at 30-45 kt.
(The name can be pronounced "sebber".)
