Draken 35.1009 had its first flight on 25th November 1970, and was delivered to Air Force at Air Station Karup 14th December 1970th A-009 were transferred to 725 Squadron on 15th December 1970th
D. 18th May 1991 was A-009 on the occasion of Squadron 725s 40 Anniversary, a special livery. The body was painted "Mailbox" red and lower body were dragon from 725 Squadron's crest painted.
A-009 had its last flight on 18th December 1992, and was decommissioned on 16th March 1992nd
D. 01 April 1993 was the aircraft prepared for Flight Museum in Stauning. Unfortunately the aircraft's special coating of paint to Drake normal green color. A-009 was delivered to Denmark Flight Museum on the 27 April 1993rd
If you are looking for you can still see the red color in some places the aircraft.
A-009 is one of the lucky Draken plane who has been a good place among a lot of his old friends at the "flying" museum & Air Force Museum in Stauning.
A-009 had flown by phasing out 3141 hours and 10 minutes.
