UPDATE (May. 2, 2008): All USA forests have been updated. Well, unfortunately we only realized after releasing the previous versions, that in many regions - especially those with large, contiguous forests - some extended forests were missing. It turned out, that my geo processing tool GRASS GIS has just left out the biggest forest polygons in a very early stage of my process chain (where I transform raster landclass data to vector polygons) - seems to bee a bug in GRASS itself. As we are dealing with very big amounts of data, we had no way to check for this in advance and only noticed it during our countless hours of flying over and testing the scenery. Now I hope, that the problem is solved (via a workaround - I changed my preprocessing strategy) to 99% and most of the forests are where they are intended to be ;-)

And Albert has also sent me some slightly updated/corrected textures ans forest definitions which I include in this update release.
