Looks great, but......
after it loads, there is no fuel and engine not running ( no gas).... ok so I filler-up.... immediately the gauges show full.... then flop to empty
is this me, or you?

Bargbill, I just downloaded the file from the DM and tested it. Can't find find any of the problems that you described. Now, this plane was build and tested in version 9.31. Are you running a higher version perhaps?

Bargbill - if you're getting the blue rocket flame out the back of the Venom you're flying it in a later version than 9.3. This small problem with the JERA sound system in 9.4 is being sorted right now and should be solved shortly.

I'm now on 9.4rc10 beta all works fine rc4 beta was the problem here. ALL IS OK!!!
Really flies nicely and the texturing in the paint is supurb.
I also like the very different external v.s. the sound inside the cockpit.

One tiny criticism, that flame at the exhaust is small than I light my BBQ with. Can you increase the fire outback.

What can we do to convince the gods at X-Plane to bring back the blash marks on the ground? We used to have them, but they went away.

We were thinking of giving it a distinct smell too...

If you use 9.4 rc7or above, you most likely will spring that blue flamed gas leak. I up-dated the file since 3 October 2009 to tackle the problem.

Peter - it's a layered sound system that separates the engine sound (whine etc) from the exhaust/roar. The latter doesn't come into play until the throttles are moved off idle. JERA stands for 'jet engine rocket assisted'. It's a workaround to create depth in the engine sounds, to provide a small measure of 3D and to increase user immersiveness. JERA custom sounds are used in Jacques Brault's PZL Belphegor, Geiger's Sea Venom and Mike Wilson's Trident 1e (to date). Other aircraft with JERA are in the works.
