This project is dedicated in loving memory to Jim Wright from Cottage Grove, Oregon.
This aircraft has been under development for a year now, we designed custom airfoils based off the NACA 404 paper, the Instrument panel is a photo of a photo from the book ‘At the controls’ by the Smithsonian, the paint textures were hand made from photos of the replica, the sounds were hand tailored to fit this aircraft, they were from various sources. Over all this entire Aircraft was built from scratch from a ton of research and even more design / flight testing, close to 500 hours in flight testing.
As mentioned before, this model is far from complete, once it is migrated into XP ver 8.40, that’s when all the heavy work will take place. We will be redesigning EVERYTHING! From the foils to the 3-d object, this ship will undergo many improvements in the future.
